Ambition becomes a problem when those who give empty promises get to the point where they need to fully back-up their promises and are found wanting. If NC went round convincing MP and the players that we were going for the CL, enticing them to the club that way, then there is only one possible outcome when we get to this point and realise it's probably not going to be likely; those players and manager get in a stop and look for options elsewhere. Good short-term scheme for success, not so good long-term.

What do you want in a statement though? It's a bit pointless just asking for more transparency if you're unclear on what it is you want or expect them to say?
