  1. Wages/salaries would then have to rise to attract the appropriate workers back, rather than the market being falsely subsidised by tax payers.
  2. Fair enough - but he must have been sacked or left voluntarily, they are the only two choices.
  3. What have you heard? Something different to what we've seen reported?
  4. Just a regular Saints home kit for next season would be nice.
  5. Because they're scared of being classed as 'racist'.
  6. Guess no-one did, maybe they were just post on the wrong thread?
  7. Those links have nothing to do with large parts of the UK being overtaken by net-migration.
  8. Yeah, that's what I've said, he has potential, but I don't think he's offering a massive amount to us in games at the moment.
  9. Yet,he's gone backwards over the last 6 months and not lived up to that potential.
  10. Yes, it was the bit I was referring to with my question.
  11. Good point, should also look at goals scored to be fair.
  12. So that tells us that despite crossing the ball so much, he's only been able to assist two goals this season?
  13. Which stats are these?
  14. The government didn't invite the people from the EU, they didn't have a choice, but yes, lots of cheap labour is a definite driver behind the scheme. And who knows what will happen at retirement age, that is a long way off and history suggests that won't happen.
  15. Sure, he's a good crosser and his set-pieces are very good, but they're not enough in isolation. And despite breaking those records, how many assists has he got this year?
  16. Where have I written him off? He's ok as a squad player I agree, but nothing more than that at the moment, hopefully he can develop a bit over the next couple of years.
  17. JWP is a weak link for me as well to be honest, yes, a bit of potential there, but he doesn't offer enough going forward or is strong enough defensively for us.
  18. Which "preconceptions, glass ceilings and 'established' views" did NC challenge? We achieved in-line with most clubs that spend our sort of money and get 30k at home every other week in the Premier League.
  19. No, you seem to have missed the point. The UK continues to suffer from significant net-migration, year after year, it doesn't matter what passports people hold or how long they tell a survey the intend to stay - it puts a strain on certain levels of housing in certain parts of the country, hardly a surprise.
  20. He should have gone with one of those other European clubs (Celtic or Cardiff) for his Champions League football, as most normal people would have looked at the top 5 of English football and would have known we weren't going to break into it.
  21. Why did he come here to play Champions League football?
  22. The "hit and run" will have to be a new forum term. THis has some interesting reading http://migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/briefings/long-term-international-migration-flows-and-uk
  23. Check net-migration figures in the UK.
