Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Sour Mash replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
No, it's not at odds, the bloke who reported this issue to the authorities wasn't muslim. -
We're probably not going to win the league either, so why be bothered about that. Day out a Wembley, even for just the Semi Final is a decent buzz.
-
He is, in that he uses his body strength to protect the ball pretty well.
-
I honestly can't believe that any Saints fan has disliked our football for the last three years that much.

Aren't the German people lucky Merkel has forced this upon them; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-35231046 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-35208669 Meanwhile, Britain is still producing this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35228558 -
Bad move for Swansea, hadn't realised they'd been having such problems with him lately.
-
Where have you seen that? I'd be surprised if Swansea sold Shelvey now, especially for just £10m.
-
Don't get so upset and start making stuff up. Tell us about all the Birmingham games you watched this season.
-
Of course the game matters, why doesn't it? Two decent Premier League teams at that price is a bargain.
-
Surprised there is still plenty of tickets still left, based on such cheap prices and Palace taking the extra allocation.
-
So we haven't signed a player that is very quick from Birmingham that we've hardly ever seen play. How will we survive.
-
Still not sure what your point is, but don't worry.
-
I'm not sure what your point is?
-
What's he done in his career to make you so keen on him? Which Birmingham games have you watched this season?
-
He hasn't been though. Look at his net spend, compared to Adkins, MP or Pardew as examples.
-
He's got potential, but its not a "huge opportunity missed" is it. He's scored a grand total of one goal, with one assist for the mighty Birmingham and now he's up there with Sam Byram as the player to definitely turn around our fortunes.
-
We're a football club, not a political party or marketing agency.
-
He probably wouldn't have played Gallagher if he hadn't blown £16m on the waste of money Osvaldo, £16m of squad strength wasted right there. Interesting to hear that MP was forced to play Gallagher and didn't do it because of his revolutionary approach to our young players we keep hearing about on here. But good to know that despite all the stick the board keep getting and despite losing a £20m forward for a whole season, we were able to create a stronger squad, in the space of a couple of weeks pre-season, whilst seriously out-doing our competitors in controlling our net spend. Very impressive stuff indeed.
-
Agreed, Koeman had squad problems and a very difficult start making his achievements even more impressive. No Rodriguez for the whole of last season, first choice keeper out for a good chunk of time and only half a squad available on his arrival.
-
Not making sense as usual. Of course there is a way of telling, no club puts every single youngster in their system into their first team.
-
Yet Koeman achieved more than him.
-
Yes, but that's a separate point.
-
I am certain that Cedric Soares is a better right back than Yoshida.
-
Our team would in all likelihood be stronger. But how much money has been used to pay for training ground costs, previous transfer deals and historic costs? Unless we know what has happened to any 'spare' money?
-
well that makes even less sense then. Is Cedric a better right back than what we had at the club? Yes. Is VVD better than Yoshida or Caulker? Yes. Are Romeu and Clasie better than Davis/JWP as defensive midfielders? Yes. So by your thinking we have improved our first XI, which is what you were winging we hadn't done. Make your mind up.
