  1. Which isn't the point that was being discussed.
  2. Two fairly strong links, not seen/heard much apart from these articles.
  3. It's not possible for us to buy better players than Schneiderlin or Alderweireld.
  4. He can't answer that. Far too confusing for him.
  5. The post I was responding to stated we should just be buying 2-3 players a season to improve our first 11.
  6. We haven't bought endless back ups though. Do you seriously think we could have bought players better than Alderweireld & Schneiderlin? Or are you just posting for the sake of it? Do you not remember the clamour for strength in depth?
  7. Pretty much spot on that.
  8. I wouldn't boo, but why any Saints fan would still cheer Wanyama I will never know. We had this debate in the summer, he's had great support from our fans and that really hasn't made any positive difference has it.
  9. What was your previous username on here?
  10. You think the board are just filling their pockets with cash
  11. You've got to be kidding. Schneiderlin? Clyne? How can you consistently buy better than players deemed top 4.
  12. You don't half post some b*****s on here.
  13. If you lose the quality of player we have, you'd have to spend a fortune to bring in players of equal quality. People are so keen to have someone to blame, it's not necessarily the fault of either the board or Koeman, a few errors from them both in a tough season.
  14. I think only 5 players scored 15 or more goals last season, it's a rarity. The return from Pelle, Long, Mane & Tadic is decent, it's the goal scoring contributions from the rest of the side, particularly midfield that is more of a problem.
  15. How much would a 20 goal a season striker typically cost?
  16. You fill up page, after page on here with your dross regardless, it doesn't matter how well we're doing.
  17. I thought the game summed up our season. We looked the better team for large chunks. Not clinical last third, both finishing and creativity. And always a sloppy defensive mistake to undo our hard work.
  18. Our wages aren't going to stay at the same level for ever. I'm sure the club is aware that there is a significant amount of tv money incoming.
  19. Not really the same situation based simply on that interview. And it all depends how Koeman leaves and manages his exit.
  20. And we've now got to be pay for Stekelenberg and Forster, Gardos and Caulker. Two wages for one position in affect. Plus a bit more squad depth. Plus, I'd imagine Bertrand is on more than Shaw for example, so swings and roundabouts.
  21. Explains how you've got it wrong I guess.
  22. No. What does that have to do with my post?
  23. How much ? How much historic debt have we had to pay off?
  24. There is no way you seriously think its that simple. What a limited outlook.
  25. It is a bit cryptic I'm afraid. How much have they stuffed in their back pockets?
