  1. Martin Crowe, one of New Zealand's most well known cricketers, has been diagnosed with cancer. The former Black Caps captain was reportedly diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this week. Not very pleasant at all. He was the name behind "Cricket Max" in the mid to late 1990's. I think that the idea was taken and improved into 20/20 but not 100% sure. http://nz.sports.yahoo.com/cricket/news/article/-/15126048/ex-black-cap-crowe-battling-cancer/ .
  2. In 1999, following the confiscation of credit card details from Landslide Productions of Fort Worth, Texas, an online paedophile company by US authorities, an international investigation of child pornographers and paedophiles run by Britain’s National Criminal Intelligence Service, code named Operation Ore, resulted in 7,250 suspects being identified in the United Kingdom alone. Some 1850 people were criminally charged in the case and there were 1451 convictions. Almost 500 people were interviewed “under caution” by police, meaning they were suspects. Some 900 individuals remain under investigation. In early 2003, British police began to close in on some top suspects in the Operation Ore investigation, including senior members of Blair’s government. However, Blair issued a D-Notice, resulting in a gag order on the press from publishing any details of the investigation. Blair cited the impending war in Iraq as a reason for the D-Notice. http://theneedleblog.wordpress.com/2012/10/11/2209/
  3. O.M.Goodness even Tony gets a mention now BUT nothing happened to him. http://www.propagandamatrix.com/blair_protection.html NATO boss and Blair government insider Lord Robertson has threatened to sue Scotland's leading independent newspaper over internet allegations that he not only used his influence as a Freemason to procure a gun licence for child killer Thomas Hamilton, but was also a member of a clandestine paedophile ring reportedly set up by Hamilton for the British elite. On 13 March 1996, Hamilton, armed with four hand-guns, opened fire on a junior school class, killing 16 children and one teacher before turning the gun on himself, shattering forever the idyllic 13th century Scottish town of Dunblane. Some commentators, mindful that one of Tony Blair's closest confidante's is a practising paedophile, are even suggesting that this particular scandal, and not Blair's repeated lies and fabricated reports in regard to Iraq, may well prove the downfall of a government mired in sleaze and corruption. The Sunday Times is reported to have obtained an FBI list of Labour MPs who have used credit cards to pay for internet child pornography, and Blair has responded by imposing a massive news blackout, failing however to stop the arrest of one of his most important aides, Phillip Lyon. The latest allegations came to light following a campaign to lift the secrecy on the Dunblane massacre. Large sections of the police report were banned from the public domain under a 100-year secrecy order. Lord Cullen, an establishment insider, also omitted and censored references to the documents in his final report. Parents and teachers were advised to concentrate their efforts on a campaign to outlaw handguns instead of focusing on how the mentally unstable Freemason, already known by the police to be a paedophile, had obtained a firearms licence for six handguns. Hamilton allegedly enjoyed good relations with both local Labour luminary George Robertson and Michael Forsyth, the then Scottish Secretary of State and MP for Stirling. Forsyth congratulated and encouraged Hamilton for running a boy's club. Hamilton was also found to have exchanged letters with the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth."
  4. Pimpey fans are just like children, when being told off by their elders and betters they dislike it very much. However if it comes from an elder brother they take it somewhat better.
  5. This link is to a story from 1997 ! Very long but interesting as even a certain ex woman P.M. is mentioned as having to be forced to act against one of the Conservatives main "helpers". http://pebpr.blogspot.co.uk/ Just a small part says:- "There is a lot more to the abuse side of this case, but as I am still investigating this I cannot reveal anymore at this time. However, I would like to know what happened to almost 20 million pounds of Conservative Party funds which I understand are still in an offshore account controlled by him and former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. I would also like to ask the former Prime Minister why she stood up for McAlpine when information was passed to her by the security services in relation to McAlpine, and it was only after a large amount of pressure was put on her that she removed him from his post before information leaked out. For all that she may have been the best Prime Minister this country has had for a very long time, she has let every child in this country down so badly for the sake of the party and that she can never be forgiven." The above quote is NOT my words to clear any doubt. .

  7. Just had a polite P.M. re my main board thread ( After posting above comment )
  8. Looks like "they" didn't enjoy my attempt at cheering the main board up then, the thread has been locked Some people let this game take over their life far to much. I mean if these wealthy football types get "let go" they find another job and the fans don't have to pay the redundancy. The fans mortgage isn't affected either.

  11. To go on the main board and start a thread called "Adkins has Gone!!!" and then qualify it in small letters with the phrase "home for a nights sleep before getting back to work" There are soo many threads about him being in trouble so would one more hurt ?
  12. Palmerston North's Levi Sherwood has become the youngest-ever winner of the Red Bull X-Fighters tour championship - and an overnight millionaire. The 21-year-old sealed the world title and a $1.3m windfall yesterday, claiming the Sydney leg of the extreme motocross world series on Cockatoo Island - his third stage win of the 2012. Unlike his more traditional peers, Sherwood has done it all off his own back, self-building practice facilities on his Manawatu farm as a teenager, with Government funding all but completely closed to him. http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/motorsport/7779868/Kiwi-motocross-rider-an-overnight-millionaire
  13. Katie Price for too many reasons to post. I can also think of several more but I don't want to hog the thread.

  15. I wonder if he would pass the "fit and proper" FL test ?
  16. Has he actually been put on a jet that has taken off ? I will only cheer when it does and then a few hours later pictures of his arrest in the U.S. appear.
  17. A high debt/equity ratio generally means that a company has been aggressive in financing its growth with debt. This can result in volatile earnings as a result of the additional interest expense. If a lot of debt is used to finance increased operations (high debt to equity), the company could potentially generate more earnings than it would have without this outside financing. If this were to increase earnings by a greater amount than the debt cost (interest), then the shareholders benefit as more earnings are being spread among the same amount of shareholders. However, the cost of this debt financing may outweigh the return that the company generates on the debt through investment and business activities and become too much for the company to handle. This can lead to bankruptcy, which would leave shareholders with nothing. The debt/equity ratio also depends on the industry in which the company operates. For example, capital-intensive industries such as auto manufacturing tend to have a debt/equity ratio above 2, while personal computer companies have a debt/equity of under 0.5. 19. " Childline founder Esther Rantzen, a BBC broadcaster and long-time campaigner against child abuse, has admitted she had heard rumours about the behaviour of flamboyant entertainer Jimmy Savile. Ms Rantzen, who appears in an ITV documentary tonight which claims Sir Jimmy sexually abused schoolgirls as young as 12, said: "There were always rumours that he behaved very inappropriately, sexually, with children." She said: "For the first time there's more than one single child complaining. "There are five adult women producing very similar statements about the way they were attacked." ALSO Broadcaster Paul Gambaccini said this week he had been waiting 30 years for the allegations to come out and the star had used his high-profile and successful charity work to stop claims being exposed. .
  20. Yes it is a disgusting heap BUT blowing it up or even burning it to the ground would not eradicate it 100%. Parts would be blown in the wind towards decent folk in Hampshire. The only safe way is to totally enclose it with concrete at least 6 feet deep.
