The one who failed at Valenciennes and then somehow earned a promotion to us, no loss. "Rasmus Ankersen — always three steps ahead." So the two relegations are just part of one long plan.
-
Nice to see it had an impact.
-
To be fair, Karen Brady was on our side during the play-off expulsion show.
-
Got us kicked out just to see their side lose 1-0 and spend more money for the privilege. 😂
-
Hehe, they won the legal battle off the pitch, but for what? A day out defeat at Wembley. 😂 We have a lot more coming for us in the long term, but lets enjoy these short term victories.

West Ham signed Tevez and Mascherano, kept them up by three points ahead of Sheffield United, £5.5m fine. Liverpool and a host of other clubs have also received sanctions for their academy player dealings: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39508491 Most of the Premier League, and Birmingham have sold their women's teams to themselves to bypass PSR rules.

This summer, a good start will be being active early, and not leaving our summer business to five games into the season on September 1st as always.

Surely the final mistake we accept from these lot. A string of dud managers, a host of failed signings, making us an uncompetitive laughing stock last season. But, hey, at least we got a product last season. A shit, expensive and very faulty product. But, that's the risk with football. Sometimes good, sometimes shit. This season, we've put our hard earned money in for... Nothing. Every moment, every goal achieved nothing. Some fans will even be out of pocket this weekend after paying out on travel, etc... The players will also be wholly pissed off that their efforts post-Will Still have essentially become meaningless because we acted like amateur's off the pitch again. The risk vs reward for watching training sessions just is not worth it.

So is this all the Middlesbrough equivalent of Skacel/Spertsyan with the expect an announcement at this time by pretend itk's.
-
Look at the official Middlesbrough Twitter account mocking speech impediments before THB did it as well. 😉

Wouldn't the sacked person have to sign an NDA, like managers and players leaving clubs have to these days? Or does it not go down that far in the food chain.

Recently Leicester cheated an entire season by playing by different financial rules than the other 23 teams in the league, assembling a team that was well paid for, allowing them to win the league. They got a six point deduction two years later, which to be fair did relegate them, but could have also had little to no impact on them. Surely that's the base. Six points for having an advantage over an entire season, Leicester were a clear level above us and we also won promotion. Or, expulsion, fine and points deduction for watching a training session?

Remember the gamesmanship from Swansea in the build up to the Gabbiadini game in 2018? Were the media and pundits calling them cheats and demanding a forfeit, financial compensation and a points deduction as they did everything in their power to unsettle us and gain an advantage prior to the match starting? Or did it quickly get brushed over and Mark Hughes said, their tactics motivated us? "We suspected that maybe it was some of the dark arts at work but we didn't let it affect us, in fact we used it as a motivating factor. That helped our focus and we won't be staying in the vicinity of the hotel Marriott Swansea, I think we will stick to the Vale of Glamorgan."

You can just see the fans forum this summer. Instead of questions about the women's team and making St Mary's more welcoming for away fans. We'll get, why didn't we forfeit the Middlesbrough games and give them a bye to the play-off finals?

I haven't seen replays for the incidents, just what I saw last night. From my view, the Larin one wouldn't have been a penalty pre-VAR, but with slow motion and VAR, it's more commonly given these days, looked to me like a clumsy coming together and Larin getting to the ball first. The Scienza one was really soft, the worst and most frustrating part of his game. Stay on your feet.

Ayling's always been a bit of a cock. Has that passive aggressive smirk almost every game. Goes up and gives a bit to THB and when THB replies he goes crying to the ref. If he did take the piss out of his speech, I don't think that's ever been a red card? On a separate note, THB has been class since Eckert took over. The player I had hoped we signed when he initially joined as quite a coup. On the ball and defensively he has been top and will have definitely attracted suitors for this summer if we don't go up.

Ahahaha. The final of what, Eurovision?

There have been far more impactful "scandals" over the years, West Ham staying up with Tevez and Mascherano, Henry's handball goal against the Republic of Ireland, Liverpool tapping up Van Dijk, leaving us without our best player for a season (First half he was sulking, second half he was sold), Manchester City's 100+ charges, illegal signing of youth players by financially incentivising family's... It goes on and on. All were initially supposed to face big punishments according to reports, and then nothing of any real note happened. It would be very unprecedented if we were kicked out of a competition, which we achieved over the other 46 league games for watching a few fitness drills when Leeds admitted to spying all season and got a £200k fine... And yeah, I know the rules have changed since. Look at the reaction when Bielsa was doing it: But, anyway the best thing about all this is that Middlesbrough will still be training over the next week. 😂😂😂
-
Dear Kim Hellberg, a friendly reminder that Tonda Eckert took us from 21st to 4th, while you were taking Middlesbrough from 2nd to 5th. More spying needed.
-
Starting to get the sense that Middlesbrough aren't confident in beating us... And if we do win tomorrow Kim Hellberg's going to be the sorest loser going. If we win tomorrow and fans start buying tickets for Wembley, it would be a logistical nightmare to refund us all who bought tickets. So, don't worry Middlesbrough, a bit of common sense, that isn't happening, nothing to worry about, let your players go on their holidays. At the end of the day, tomorrow's a fair game and the best team on the night will deservedly go through.

Yeah, clubs all over the country break rules. "Tapping up" players and managers is just accepted after Liverpool got caught with Van Dijk. Would argue that had a more significant impact on us than us watching a training session, and they got away with a written apology and declaring they wouldn't sign him... Until five months later. Then you've got all the clubs selling their women's teams to themselves to avoid FFP and some dodgy "swap" deals with players between clubs to get around it too. Look how much Newcastle signed then 30 year old Odysseas Vlachodimos when Elliot Anderson went the other way. Vlachodimos had made five appearances for Forest, as mentioned old for a footballer as well. Newcastle had Pope and Dubravka and they signed Vlachodimos for £20m. A goalkeeper, not dodgy at all. He's made one League Cup appearance in two years. Yeah, some clubs get away with breaking rules in plain sight. Spying wouldn't have been some great idea that we've created, I imagine most clubs are still doing it. We were just the stupid ones that got caught. But, it has to be a fine at most for the punishment. If we were to get caught twice, that's probably when the deductions would come in. Their Echo journalist thinks the second leg should be played without home fans...

Had a few minutes since March, 7, 1, 6 and 17 on the last day. Just not that good.

Can't we just release a statement on our website apologising to Middlesbrough and say we won't sign Hayden Hackney if we do get promoted? It worked for Liverpool: https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/announcements/265720-liverpool-fc-statement

Leeds' punishment was a £200k fine and a formal reprimand. So, the play-offs are still on, sorry Middlesbrough.
