  1. Good to see big John understands what a phobia is all about...
  2. How high is high for you? Mate of mine can't even get up a ladder due to his fear of heights. I'm the opposite there, I get a buzz out of heights.
  3. I suffer, severely, from tipulophobia (Phobia of Crane Flies). I am absolutely fine with Spiders, Snakes, Moths, Butterflies, Bugs, well... anything really, but blasted Crane Flies. Just the thought of them makes me shiver and jerk in a funny way and if I see one, I go full blown ballistic. My best mate (house mate at the time) underestimated just how plain sh*t scared of them i was and once walked into the living room towards me holding one by its legs and because I was well and truly trapped I cannot begin to even try to explain just how much fear was running through me. In a right state, I bombed it out of the flat and ran. Know idea why I didn't just stop when I got outside, but I continued to run from up near the Castle Pub in Midanbury, all the way down Woodmill Lane to the activity centre, and had to sit and compose myself for a good 20-30 minutes before strolling off, eventually building up the courage to go back home. My mate apologized. This being their time of year, i am in a constant state of alert. Constantly on the look out, I do not permit a single window open (even slightly) during this time of year for fear of being greeted by one, and when i do (even if i'm smack in the middle of town surrounded by hundreds of people) I freak and make a spectacular scene, which as i'm sure a few will understand, is rather embarrassing. Anyone else got a Phobia? Or know of anyone with some weird and wonderful Phobias?
  4. And whenever you do a drop kick with Kelv it goes straight out for a throw in. And when Puncheon is on the ball you are unable to pass the ball, all you can do is give your best effort at getting the ball out of the stadium.
  5. He is a complete and utter teewat. He thinks he is a gangster who spouts his mouth off all over the show, only for it to come bite him in the sack every time. Fair play Cortese for being honest. Saying he is open to come but not particulary welcome is fantastic, I love it. No doubt the Cortese bashers will instantly side with Mitchell though.
  6. Not mine. Was posted on 606. The good news is that we can edit every player to make our squad more realistic as, yet again, the lower league players have been well and truly neglected. Obviously any changes dont apply to online ranked games though...
  7. If you liked the film, you'll love the series. Personally I thought the series was better than the film, so yeh... i'd recommend.
  8. Posted this on the 'Yeovil - Post Match' fred, put think a few on this one need to see it to get a jist of just how peeved NA was after last night, and that the result, was very much down to bad habits this (AP's) squad has. Just seen Adkins interview on Saints Player... Wow. He was one unhappy bloke! And quite right too. So many times last season, we saw ourselves throw away leads in games we SHOULD have won. Some, comfortably. This was purely down to AP having no other plan than that of hoofball and that alone cost us whether we were winning or losing because if we wernt throwing away leads, we were limping into a loss in a game where the opposition had sussed us out a week or so before hand, and stopped us playing long balls. This is still hampering us now, and it wont be until Adkins has undone all the work done by AP over the last year or so that this will change. We have played some good football since NA has arrived, and I for one am very exited about our future under him. I am just frustrated that the likes of Super Kelv, Jaidi, Seaborne, Hammond and the one saints player who I cannot understand for the bleeding life of me why people rate him... Harding, cannot help themselves but to just leather their foot through the ball without so much as looking up and just gifting the opposition possession. This, according to NA is what yet again, cost us last night.

  10. Damn it. I knew I should have risked it. I was told I would have it today but now told tomorrow
  11. Can't stop listening to their self titled album (1980 I think)... So many great tracks. These being another that my workmate got me into. Now own most of their stuff and yet another group I would have loved to have seen back in the day.
  12. Critically acclaimed if you read NME on a weekly basis. Not so much if you go upto Mr Joe Bloggs and ask him if he has ever heard of Arcade Fire. They are not so much mainstream, they get very occasional radio play is more along the lines I was trying to get at. There gigs sell out very quickly because there are obviously, lots of people who appreciate quite how good they are, and up until now, there gigs this side of the pond have been very few and far between.
  13. Seems some have forgotten that under AP we dropped points to the likes of Colchester, Brentford, Oldham, Stockport, Wycombe etc etc. I was stunned when Pards was sacked, now I'm glad. We have a good manager in Adkins, and is someone I believe will take us far if the moronic fans don't get on his back after a handful of games, thus creating needless extra pressure. Cannot believe that some seem to actually want the bloke to fail, because so far alot of you have been nothing but negative. I didn't go to the game last night, but just by listening to it I think I can safely say that we played better at Huish last night than we did last season, because down there last year we certainly didn't deserve to win. Results count yes, but look at the bigger picture... Hitting the woodwork twice and suffering an equaliser through a penalty isn't all that bad away at a sh*t ground on a miserable Tuesday night. AP has gone, get over it and get behind our f*cking manager ffs. If you can't do that, do the entire club a favour and f*ck off.
  14. It was disturbing... yet epic. Lol beating that sick f*ck over the head was a truly satisfying moment. I thought Combo was a right C*nt, How wrong I was.
  15. We did you are correct. 5 points!
  16. Nice use of bullsheeite words to try and belittle my counter argument... I would love to understand what you mean, but I was far too busy having the time of my life whilst I was at school to pay any attention to the sort of nonsense you have come back at me with. Go back and lay in bed, turn on your bedside lamp, put on you reading glasses and keep reading your english literature whilst your missus' pleasure's herself under the duvet. Oh... dont forget your glass of milk.

  18. Pardew would have gone to Hillsborough playing 4-5-1 hoofball to Lambert, it would have failed miserably from the first minute to the last, and he wouldn't have changed it if his life depended on it. I enjoyed the results, but to be honest I was so bored of watching hoofball. What I have seen thus far under Adkins, I am impressed. To be questioning a manager after two weeks in the job, after inheriting a squad who's confidence was shot to bits and with their no.1 forward far from 100% and the teams most creative, arguably most dangerous player, lallana, out injured... add to that the fact that Barnard was suspended and the fact that the squad was hardly full of depth... to me this all adds up to the conclusion you are a penis.
  19. LeGod Third Coming... F*CK OFF.
  20. Precisely. Tis' far kin sh*t. just like Seaborne. One game f*cking wonder 50p head c*nt.
  21. FFS. Seaborne's SH*T.
