I think it is quite constructive actually. Markus might be completely oblivious to the bad feeling Cortese is causing amoung some groups of Saints fans, and might wish to be made aware of it so he can have a quiet work in Nicolas ear. Liebherr does not come across as the arrogant ego-maniac that Cortese is.

Hmmm... you are talking about a man that rents a house off a former Saints player, decides he doesn't like the ex-Saints player / landlords carpets, so rips them up and puts in laminate flooring down without even speaking to him, before deducting the costs he incurred off the rent he paid one month. I really wouldn't put it past Cortese. Not at all.

It's the same old people ranting on here in support of Cortese and will shout down anyone who has a bad word to say about their saviour, without actually looking at the facts. IF it is purely down to an administration error, then it's still absolutely disgraceful customer service on the clubs part and something which needs to be addressed immediately. Like or loathe Nick, I don't think anyone can honestly say he is making up that the club have not contacted him, nor resolved his issue after more than 3 weeks of trying to resolve it. It would just not be in his best interests to make up such a blatant lie. All the people who are saying 'you are speaking to the wrong person/manager' - Southampton FC is not a Blue Chip company FFS, I am pretty sure the management know how to use the 'Fw' facility on their email to direct it to the right place without it getting 'lost in the system' REGARDLESS of the reasons for revoking the season ticket, if this is the case, then the football club have a duty to remain professional and deal with the issue in a professional manner, what they have done IF it wasn't an admin error, is completely petty and childish to not even have the courtesy of contacting Nick to let him know of the reasons, the reasons for revoking his season ticket are irrelevent. So whichever way you look at it, the club is in the wrong and being childish and petty and/or showing a completely disgraceful customer service.

Being threatened with it and them actually doing that is a completely different thing. I think the point they were making was discussing club affairs is gross misconduct which could ( would ) result in being sacked. Remember someone posted up here that Cortese had told his wife/partner that if she took maternity leave that Cortese had told her she would be sacked. I don't think Cortese has a clue about UK employment law, nor does he care for it much.

Good post. The thing is, and people will hate this, and due to my feelings towards the Trust, it's hard for me to post... BUT, like it or not, Nick is the most public figure with regards to fans at SFC. The people stating that it was probably just an admin error are just p!ssing in the wind, it wouldn't take 4 weeks to rectify, they would simply email Nick asking for his payment details again and redebit his account. Of the many negatives I could say about NI, I don't believe he will intentionally lie about actions of the club, especially as he is well informed enough to know Cortese will have a Solicitors letter on his doorstep quick than Nick could say " Mama Mia " if Cortese thought Nick wasn't telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Like it or not, but with any business, if you are dealing with someone who has links with the press which can potentially harm your public profile, then you escalate them through a different channel and make sure they have no grounds to complain, regardless of whether you like them or not or you agree with their views. This is common business practice. Cortese just seems to not give a f*ck who he ****es off along the way... one day it will bite him in the arse. The majority of fans on this forum will put up with being treated like a c*nt, others won't be so willing... and will start drifting away as prices rise and communication drops even more.

Of course you are happy... YOU DON'T HAVE A SEASON TICKET NOR DO YOU ATTEND MORE THAN A HANDFUL OF GAMES A SEASON For you, success is simply picking up the News Of The World on a Sunday morning and having a look at the league table. You have minimal contact with the club as a customer, so of course you will be happy, as on the pitch, things look promising.
