  1. I don't have an agenda, I just nailed my colours to the mast about the installment plan, and as a result have alot of communication coming in from other Saints fans, who one way or another have been f*cked over by the club. If someone wants to give me some examples of 'fan-friendly' Cortese then I am happy to take them into account, all I have heard from that side of the argument is popping out to say hello to the overnight P*mpey queue.
  2. Don't get me wrong, I would love it if the club did have an open fans forum as they have in previous years. I just don't think they will, as it would be a complete PR suicide mission if they did.
  3. Because the club won't respond to emails / phone calls etc etc etc about issues, when they are questioned to a point they have to give a response they simply either tell a lie or refuse to discuss the issues. For that reason it would be complete suicide for Cortese to have an open forum with a live microphone recording and no idea what the questions will be... he won't enjoy being put on the spot.
  4. Why do you think the club has broken its relationship with the Echo and making ALL news come from the official site? Because they can control the content. Expect the gloves to come off from the Echo in the next few weeks though, especially if their ban is upheld. You can say what you like about the Echo, but the OS is nothing more than "pro Cortese" propaganda as you rightly say. Would be nice to have a balance... that's what the Echo gives.
  5. Why has the Echo stopped using the club crest then? I find that a bit strange. They have their own mockups now.
  6. I don't know. There is a Vicky Case on facebook who is a member of various Saints pages, including Saintsweb. There's not that many Vicky Cases's , so I am assuming it's the one... although she is not friends with Andrew Case that I can see, so I could be wrong.
  7. Absolutely no chance of it being either 'open for all' or anything other than cherry-picked questions even if they did invite an audience. I would be AMAZED if it's anything more than a one on one interview with Cortese like it was a few months ago.
  8. Slightly off-topic... Does anyone know why the Saints Trust website is down and why the Echo has for some reason stopped using the Saints crest?
  9. We are discussing something Trust related, the possibility of the Trust chairman having his season ticket taken back off him. And I am sorry, I massively dissagree. EVERYONE has the right to complain, even the Trust if they so wish... unless the complaint is Chorley-like, then the club are bang out of order if they have reclaimed someones season ticket. Seriously, are you saying that when I phone my bank up next for charging me too much money, it would be completely acceptable for them to shut my account and tell me to f*ck off? I honestly can't believe that people can still defend this, honestly, even me with my anti-Trust stance cannot defend the way the club are behaving here... it's yet another "f*ck you" to fans.
  10. For some weird reason I always remember the Kenna and Benali dance after Kenna scored at The Dell in the early 90's.
  11. Yes. Of course, fans as individuals, regardless of who they are, should be allowed to question the club and its actions. Why not? We are customers, whatever way you look at it and the football club rely on the good feeling from fans, or they will simply turn their back on the club and find another way to spend their Saturday afternoons. Certainly shouldn't have their season ticket taken back off them just because they express their viewpoint... that is childish and shows yet again a very worrying direction that the club is taking. Funnily enough the direction which I have predicted and been shouted down for on countless occasions. Amazes me how people can't see through some of the things that are happening at the club.
  12. All 3 incidents were national headline news, front page national papers etc... ... I don't remember that many other incidents in the national papers. I think there was one in the Bradford area a few weeks ago, but that's it off the top of my head.
  13. I believe it is true. And I certainly wouldn't be sticking up for Nick if I thought otherwise, given the 'differences' me and him have had over the years and my non-liking of all things Saints Trust. It does come to something when the club are now banning people who dare to speak out against them ( regardless of who they are or what they represent ) . I wonder if the Echo will be attending the Reading game on Saturday?
  14. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.
  15. Joking aside... are the club honestly now looking at banning fans who dare to say a bad word about them? Regardless of who it is, it's wrong.
  16. I have heard the same and believe it to be true. Regardless of my thoughts about the Saints Trust, it will say something about what's happening with our club if they are denying Saints fans season tickets simply because they choose to speak out against them. I just logged into my online account and it seems I am not banned yet though. :-)
  17. Craig David was once sick in my conservatory, my mum had to clean it up. Does anyone else have any Craig David stories?
  18. Pedantic. I say in the main text 'Southampton area' , yes blah blah the title should say that too, so what. Within a 15 mile radius of Southampton ( otherwise known as 'Southampton area' ) 3 murders of families and small children in the last 2 years... pretty sure that no other area will come close to that.
  19. Is she the brunnete 'Vicky Case' on Facebook? The one that is a member of Saintsweb and various Saints fan pages?
  20. In the last 2 years in the Southampton area we have seen Dad kills his two young daughters before commiting suicide in Southampton http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1718421.ece Dad stabs wife and daughter to death in Totton http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1254212/Stephanie-Bellinger-Mother-stabbed-death-alongside-baby.html Dad kills his wife and two young daughters by slashing their throats. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/07/27/my-babies-are-dead-all-my-babies-are-dead-115875-22443057/ Which brings me to my point, is it just coincidence that these have all happened in this area in the last 2 years? Each of these incidents have been headline national news and front page in the newspapers, I can remember very few similar incidents from elsewhere in the country.
  21. Don't be silly Turkish, about as much chance of me moving to P*mpey as you pulling anyone at your gym.
  22. It was a touch of sarcasm, but yes, you can get a decent 2 bed flat for between £600 and £700 if you look in the right places. And Bournemouth is a MUCH nicer place than Southampton.
  23. I have been down to Plymouth a few times for Saints games or to visit some of the said 6 people. And I can honestly say it was a sh!thole. My last visit I remember walking round steaming at about 5 in the morning trying to find prostitutes. Why don't the hookers in Plymouth work at 5am? C*nts. Plymouth is full of Navy c*nts thinking they are the dogs nads and spending most of the night growling at civvys who are sniffing round 'their women' .
  24. I for some reason have had 6 different mates who have gone and lived in Plymouth, all bar one of them are now back, saying what a dump the place is and how they feel isolated from the rest of the UK there. We are very lucky in Southampton that we have Winchester, Eastleigh, Bournemouth, Salisbury and of course, Romsey, even P*rstmouth if it takes anyones fancy, which are all a reasonable taxi far from Southampton if you are looking for a change. In Plymouth you have.... err.... Plymouth.
  25. £8,000 a year in rent is £666 a month. For that I would expect to get a decent flat near the sea. Hope this helps sweetie. xx
