Through word of mouth and all the other websites, if it had happened to a few more Saints fans then I am pretty sure we would have heard about it... even more so if they had been trying to contact the club for THREE WEEKS and being ignored/fobbed off. Come on Dulldays, even you are not stupid enough to put it down to administration error, forget judging whether it's right or wrong... it's pretty blatantly not an administration error, is it?
-
I am pretty sure if there was any significant amount then we would have been made aware of it on here, wouldn't you? And I am pretty sure the club would have taken less than 3 weeks to respond to the problem, let alone resolve it. Come on Alpine, let's be realistic eh? Cortese has thrown his toys out once again, that's pretty obvious to see.

Out of all the people to have had their money refunded back into their account, it's Nick Illingsworth. And after 3 weeks the club have not even explained what's happened, let alone resolved it. I think that is pretty self-explanatory, you don't even need to be pro or anti-Cortese to realise that for one reason or another, he has had his season ticket revoked. Obviously Nick is not going to say that until he has confirmation from the club... but it's quite hard when the club are refusing to speak to him! Jesus, forget the rights or wrongs of it, I don't believe for one minute that NI would deliberately make up lies that could easily be shot down and would DEFINATELY lead to legal action from the club. I don't agree with the Saints Trust nor with most of what NI does, but bloody hell, he is a Saints fan like me and you and has been shafted by a bitter whinging little girl that is Cortese.

They would though, unfortunately this forum seems to attract the sort of people that wouldn't probably p!ss on a Saints fan if they were on fire. No loyalty towards fellow Saints whatsoever, luckily when it comes down to it, these people are in the minority in the real world. Unfortunately though, through hidden usernames, these people like to blindly defend the club to the hilt. Smirking is a great example of this. It's no coincidence whatsoever that the majority of people who don't see the problems with Cortese don't have experience of SFC at customer level, living away from Southampton, sometimes in another country, with only a few actually having a season ticket. I guess you can see why they wouldn't be bothered and why all they care about is the results on the pitch. I think their views would be different if they had more involvement with SFC though.

Exactly, when you have a problem with a £400 transaction, who in their right mind would specifically ask to speak to the monkey on the front desk when it is absolutely nailed on that he will simply pass it on to the manager. They wouldn't... if I complain in whatever I do, I ask them once and once only on the front of house, then ask for it to be passed up.

Good idea. The most amusing thing is he is still busy on another thread slagging off people for bothering the likes of Luker, obviously not noticed this little beauty yet.
-
Sometimes, some people don't cover their tracks, a simple post search confirms what I thought... that Smirking just likes to disagree for the sake of it. Saying NI shouldn't be speaking to management, even though he started a thread asking for the managers email. You couldn't make it up. What it does prove beyond doubt though it that there are certain people who just want to have a public pop at me, as opposed to genuinely disagreeing with what I say. He even called them c*nts for not emailing back. You really couldn't make it up. I wonder what he has to say for himself.
-
Why on earth are you emailing senior management Smirking? Have you never heard of the Chain of Command? Pwned.
-
He doesn't say he hasn't followed the complaints procedure, I would imagine his first port of call would have been Luker, would have been silly not to be, seeing as he is the man with the answers. David Luker is senior management. If you have a problem with your tickets etc... would you email him? Or would you email reception asking for the email address of someone who works in the burger bar or on the box office? Honest answer please.

The Academy under Lowe was one of the best in the country/Europe. Infact 2 of the 5 most expensive British teenagers were from Lowes Academy. Can we have 3 cheers for Lowe as well?

I never said he HAD, I said that he never said he HADN'T spoken to the Ticket Office grunt. Now answer me this, if and when you have an issue with tickets have you/will you spoken to the grunt on the front desk or do you head straight for Luker ( senior management ) ? Yes, I think I proved beyond doubt they were lieing, because it was hardly half-arsed Googling when I spoke to the very people that administrate the installment plan and done research to prove that EVERY SINGLE CLUB of our size or larger has one ( including clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea who really don't need one to fill their stadiums ) . Are you really that far stuck up Cortese's arse to not understand that if there was a significant cost to it, then clubs wouldn't offer it... especially clubs who could sell out their stadiums without the need for one? So you are now saying that a customer that has been paying by installments for the last 7 years, shouldn't phone up and ask for an explanation when the facility has been removed with no notice to the fans? Yawn
-
Err... asking for a reason why a core benefit has been reand payment facility has been removed is hardly telling them how to run their business. It's asking a question, as a long serving customer. And then asking them why they are lieing again is hardly telling them how to run their business, it's making them aware I know they are full of sh!t and to give me a proper reason. Wrong? Still waiting for that link where NI says he only spoke to senior management and hasn't contacted the ticket office.
-
No, not when it took me 3 weeks to get a response from the club ( and only then when I threatened to get the Football League involved ) . David Luker now passes off any complaints up to Cortese/Leighton Mitchell/Club Spokesman now, so unlike before, when Luker was able to respond to any issue in a timely fashion the issues are kept with 'senior management' , so to get an answer, that's where you have to go.

I tried to speak to anyone and everyone taking the correct chain of command with regards to the Installment Plan and was fobbed off/ignored by everyone. I followed their complaints procedure, the fans charter ( lol ) claims that they will resolve any complaint within 7 days. After 17 days I had to remind them of the fans charter and state I would be speaking to the Football League before they even responded to an email... with a fob off. It's all very well speaking to someone/anyone but it's a complete waste of time speaking to some grunt in the ticket office that can't answer your questions, nor can he resolve the problem so for all NI's faults, you can't blame him for wanting to speak to a manager! I tried for 3 weeks to speak to someone at the club, Luker, Cortese, Jordan Sibley... and ended up with a letter back from the Megastore manager about ticket office issues.
