I would say Nick waiting 4 weeks for even acknowlegement is not jumping to conclusions don't you? Come on Skint Saint, I am not asking you to say whether it's right or wrong, but Nick being ignored for 4 weeks does not equate to an 'administrative error' . He has stated on the Ugly he has left messages with just about every member of the management team and not had so much as an acknowlegement.

Everything gets signed off by Cortese, absolutely everything, right down to the pie orders for the concourse. The staff at SMS are running round scared of Cortese, the more informed people with contacts inside the club will know this. Why do you think there are 13 videos on Saints players with staff kissing his arse? Don't you find that a bit strange and unbalanced? Another member of staff would not pull a stunt like that, because you can say what you like about Nick ( there is plenty of negatives ) but one thing you cannot deny is that he is the Saints fan with all the contacts in the press and media.

If the club refuse to speak to him then people will come to assumptions. That's not NI or anyone elses fault, that's the clubs fault, in exactly the same way it was with the Pardew situation, it's all very well the club staying silent, but that will just fan the flames of speculation and people will come to their own conclusions. Luckily for Cortese, he seems to be able to get away with it, and I am sure when the decision is reversed ( as it certainly will be ) that the club will call it an administration error. Anyone who hasn't got their head stuck up Corteses arse can see it's not an administration error, and is no more than a petty tantrum by Cortese.

I am pretty sure I can speak for Nick on this one and assume that his first email would have been sent to David Luker. Which I would say would be the correct way ( yes that's right, I actually email David Luker, infact I emailed him today, that's what he is there for, so I wasn't saying you are wrong in contacting Luker, just hypocritical. I will ask the question on the Ugly and get back to you. xx

It was me re: Green Man. Don't worry, I'll let you buy me a pint next time. See the thing is, you didn't even know that because I am not some attention whore and apart from posting it on forums and a few posters about the place, kept my mug away from it all. See I might be a c*nt, but I also DO get off my arse and do things for others ( ok ok I made a mint out of some of the coaches I parked up there, but who wouldn't eh? ) I really don't think NI would lie, and I really don't think that the club would allow an 'admin error' to drag on for a month regarding one person whom has so many contacts in the press/media ( rightly or wrongly )

Most of the blind Cortese lovers don't.

Firstly, I had a chuckle at your hypocrisy line. That was funny, even though you were attacking people for wanting to speak to managers, forgetting you had posted a thread asking for the Head of Supporters Services email address. Now THAT was comical. I am of the view if one Saints fan suffers because of the actions of the club then the problem needs addressing. I am glad you went to the Green Man and had fun. Do you know what Saints fan organised that and secured the pub for Saints fans by the way? It wasn't an admin error, I can promise you that and I am not prepared to say how I know at this point, but it wasn't... and you don't even need me to tell you why, it's pretty obvious that almost a month down the line with the club still ignoring Nicks emails and calls, that it's nothing more than a petty tantrum on the clubs part.

I haven't said he hasn't put a penny in though have I Jamie Dulldays? I have said there has been no significant investment from Liebherr. The club is being run as a self-sufficient business. You are happy to quote things that your girlfriend Nicola quotes, well that's what he said... "self-sufficient" I see absolutely no evidence that there's been significant investment since last seasons transfer window closed. If you could provide me some examples I will happily listen ( don't say the training ground, our master threw his toys out about that so hasn't actually paid for that yet )
-
I am sure that Cortese has been targeted to get to a certain level using the minimum amount of Liebherrs cash as possible. He might not have hit his targets last season, which might explain trying to cover the shortfall in booking fees, pay and display parking, doubling corporate prices, 15% Season Ticket price increase, matchday surcharge etc etc -£1m does not show significant investment. Most investors that take over a failing business forecast losses in year 1 and year 2 of a 5 year plan. Do we have a bet or not?
-
Right, when the accounts come out, if we are significantly funded by Liebherr after the initial transfers are taken out, I will make a bet with you... one which I will stick with. If after the summer transfers and initial purchase/payback to Liebherr have been taken out, we have made a loss of more than £1m then I will have my account deleted. If we are between -£1m and +£??? on our accounts then you delete your username and never post on here again. How's that for confidence and a deal. Come on... jump in on the bet. I am confident... are you??
-
There lies the problem. Liebherr won't walk away on his investment just because one of his employees walks. It's an investment, not a toy. But that attitude from fans is one of the main reasons the club feel like they can take the p!ss.
-
I said the initial purchases came out of Liebherrs pocket possibly, since then there has been no further investment that I can see. And anyway, regardless of whether Cortese signs the cheques, he needs agreement from Liebherr... and who we sign has fook all to do with him. So all credit must go to Pardew.
