  1. Oh, hang on a minute... I was rubbished when I suggested the 2 examples above!
  2. Reminds me of a song that picture does. Stewards to the right of me, Old Bill to the left, Here I am, stuck in the middle of c*nts.
  3. I liken Antonio to Theo Walcott and Nathan Dyer. It remains undecided as to whether he will follow in Walcotts footsteps or Dyers. From a managers point of view, I would take a punt on Antonio over Puncheon... I think Puncheon has found his level at excellent L1/Average-Decent Championship player... The jury is still out on Antonio.
  4. lol @ people telling this joker seriously.
  5. And they are whacking away tickets straight onto general sale for the MK Dons game it seems, so my theory about the memberships being for away games seems wrong. Who'd be a season ticket holder eh? ;-)
  6. There certainly is Mr TopGun.
  7. Have a little bit of a parody written up, mate has his own studio so looking to record it over the next couple if weeks. Does anyone know of an Alicia Keys type vocalist who would be up for pwning the skates with an amazing ( written by me ) parody? We have tried it with male vocals and it doesn't sound right. Thanks. x
  8. The point that CEC was making is that Puncheon is indeed a good player at the moment, and the better one, but has found his level, whereas Antonio has the potential to go right to the top of the game with a little bit more maturity. Yet people keep referring to this post saying he is wrong because Pardew played Puncheon more last season... excuse me, but can you engage your brain and highlight where in his post CEC said that most managers would PICK Antonio over Puncheon? I read the post making the point that most managers would rather SIGN Antonio rather than Puncheon... which I tend to agree with. Thanks. xx
  9. You seem to be missing the point as well. Puncheon is in his prime, probably the best he is going to get. Antonio is a raw talent and one that could go right to the top of the game. So Antonio is a better prospect and most managers would choose to BUY ( not play at this time ) him over Puncheon. IMO of course.
  10. It wouldn't make a great difference. It is however, quite amusing that it's a Saints fan who is going to give them one last kick on the way down.
  11. No, I think you miss his point completely. He didn't say that at this moment in time a manager would PICK Antonio over Puncheon... he makes it quite clear in his post that he is talking about potential and the whole package. Few could doubt that Antonio has got the potential to be a far better player than Puncheon and has a very promising, although raw talent. Once again, just so you understand ( I realise you are a bit simple ) . He is quite clearly talking about potential and most managers would SIGN Antonio as opposed to Puncheon if they had a choice between the two. Do you understand now? Also, I suggest getting a life if you come on here to get your kicks and make your life feel worthy and wetting your pants at the thought of proving someone wrong ( which you didn't ) on an internet forum.
  12. Definately true, he is a the boss of a bloke ( who I saw last night ) I know who also works for HMRC.
  13. Further developments happened last night. She text me asking me where I was. I text back saying at the pub. She text back saying " Ohhhh Happy Shantings " Is this reason enough to finish with her?
  14. Bit of ITK you will all appreciate. The Case Officer for HMRC vs Portsmouth City FC Ltd ( or whatever it is ) is none other than a certain Johnny Harris... whom I have been told by his colleague tonight is only a bloody SFC season ticket holder. I don't think he will be letting them get away easily. What's more amusing than seeing the skates slip into oblivion... it being a diehard Saints fan giving the final kick.
  15. You mean replacing the ones that were made redundant due to looming administration meaning the club was running on skeleton staff? The club are simply building the management staff up to solid operational levels. Don't get me wrong, there have been some good appointments, but let's not get carried away, we already had one of the best Academys in the country pre-administration, and Lowe must take the credit for that. Like I said, when the Academy has churned out a few more Bales and Walcotts, we can start getting excited.
  16. No. A business model which exploits its customer base financially to the very maximum that it is able to get away with. There is no evidence thus far of MASSIVE changes in the youth structure nor what I would deem significant investment. Yes there have been some management changes, why not wait until players start filtering through before hailing it a success eh? I was reading the paper today and they had the 5 highest transfers of teenagers in the country. Southampton had 2 of their Academy players in the top 5. Who was it that was responsible for the building of that Academy? Yes, it was Lowe. When Saints churn out the next 2 top quality Premiership players to the standard of Walcott and Bale, then we can start getting excited.
  17. I once dealt with a customer at work called Isla White. I kid you not. Her parents must have had a wicked sense of humour.
  18. I think the point people are making is that they are looking out for other Saints fans rather than the pockets of the club. I don't want SFC making money on the back of ripping other Saints fans off. We have been together at the club long before Cortese came in and will still be here long after he has gone. I don't think some of the more reasoned posters give a toss about the commercial decision and whether its been a success. They are just dissapointed that one of their family/army/whatever you want to call it, have been shafted by the club. There is so many examples of an " I'm alright Jack " attitude amoungst people on here... I think that's what some people are speaking out against.
  19. Hang on, if that was the reason then surely that's the reason they would have given, rather than the administration costs which is the reason Luker and the then Head of Sales Leighton Mitchell gave to me? Don't you think? Also, the club done their own scheme last season due to lack of time but with Premium/Zebra they take care of defaulters. Oh, and seriously wetting myself at you dropping in you do martial arts. LMFAO - What do you want? A Blue Peter Badge?
  20. 2 or 3 games imo. Having said that, we sold more season tickets than I thought we would, so might be more... but it's not a case of how many season tickets we sold that would back up my point, it's how many people were forced out of buying a season ticket. The club are not going to make it known what the retention figures are so we will never know how many of the 13k are new STH's
  21. Crowds will go up, no doubt. But to suggest we will sell out every game from Xmas is....
  22. We didn't sell out 50% of games in the Premier League, yet you expect to in League 1? Very strange.
  23. Wow, what a great friend you are. Our group all stuck together, the ones with spare cash/access to a credit card bought for those that couldn't ( apart from me and one other who didn't want to borrow off anyone ) ... Also... where do you hear about defaulters last season and that being the reason? That has not been stated by anyone at the club as a reason, one person speculated that might have been the reason and you have all jumped on it as gospel.
