  1. Where does it mention season tickets? Do you now agree with have the most expensive TICKETS ( not season tickets, they are the 3rd most expensive ) in the league? Am I a liar?
  2. I think you mean non-existant. It is still a minority that have bad feeling towards the way the club is being ran... generally it is people who have been affected by the club removing benefits that have the gripes. The number of unhappy customers will only grow with every bad PR decision Cortese makes.
  3. At work. Isn't it great to be able to post whilst at work. Hardly equates to not having a life does it pops?
  4. Let me just respond to me apparantly being a liar. Go and find me some cheaper 'cheapest' tickets then. ( Take into account the booking fee/matchday surcharge and don't pick the Cat A Sheff Weds tickets, there will only be a couple of them and the rest will be B or C so on a pro-rata basis we are more expensive ) I have done my research, have you?
  5. Nothing is extremist about asking people to give reasons as to why they don't agree with you that Cortese is p!ssing off large sections of our support. Is Cortese deliberately trying to annoy the fans. Its all very well people coming on here saying " fakk orrf Dave you c*nt , Cortese is amazing , you are talking sh!t " , but not a single one of them has actually given any constructive reasoning as to how Cortese has shown to respect and care about the people whom SFC rely on to pay the bills... the fans.
  6. Let me help you out with something. The thread title: Is Cortese deliberately trying to annoy the fans. Now I would say that's pretty obvious what the thread is about, so if it doesn't interest you next time, simply don't click on the link. The you won't have it "rammed down your throat" I am proving a point on this thread, I will explain at the end what it is. People need to realise which many don't ( including yourself ) that Liebherr is the owner and the one investing money and choosing how much he is going to invest, Cortese is nothing more than an employee.
  7. Nice try, but I am after examples of Cortese showing good PR and engagement / respect towards supporters.
  8. Erm, even if he does, he will have to sell us before he can go. And all of you that believe there has already been significant investment in the club, do you think Liebherr will just p!ss his money down the drain just because one of his employers leave? Now rather than sniping at me, give me some reasons as to why Cortese has shown good PR, customer service skills and respect for the supporters. Its not hard... as I thought would happen, all it is attracting is people saying " shut up " etc etc, nobody is actually giving me any examples of how Cortese is doing a good job and engaging with supporters.
  9. Come on Mikey. Be constructive. I don't believe Cortese is being astute, nor professional, I have given a dozen reasons why. We have 5 pro-Cortese reasons so far. Come on... feed me some more... If I am wrong, give me some reasons....
  10. Hang on!!! I am asking for the people who defend NC to give me some examples?! Surely it's not that hard? I listed a dozen examples... we have 5 so far on the pro-Cortese side! I am trying to balance the debate. Do I want Cortese to leave? Maybe... either that or learn to treat the supporters with respect. If Cortese goes, Liebherr won't follow and jack in his investment, even if he does, someone has to buy the club off him.
  11. How could I forget. 5) Comic Relief badge.
  12. Not sure I can put that as it's not PR but a commercial decision, but in our quest to find 12, I shall put it in. 4) Free under 8's season ticket with paying adult. ( although it is targeted marketing, the extra revenue from the extra adults will more than cover the loss of the Under 8's who had previously paid )
  13. Ahhh the kit, the lovely gesture from the club to us, well done. 3) Kit with no sponsor ( 1 year kit which in itself will almost cover the loss in sponsorship, without adding the booking fees, 15% season ticket increase etc )
  14. Well done, free top soil. Good thinking, I will add that one too. Come on guys, it's not just Chez who should be doing all the work. 2) Free top soil ( which was of scrap value and more expensive to move than let people have for free )
  15. Good call, I will add that to the list. 1xlife season ticket for a child ( if accompanied by an paying adult adult of course ) 1) Lifetime season ticket for newborn baby ( if accompanied by a paying adult ) Any more guys? Come on... we are on our way now. 11 more to go.
  16. Don't hijack the thread timmy and keep it constructive please. Do you have any examples of good PR / customer service that Cortese has demonstrated? Come on guys, you are all quick to know people that don't like Cortese... put some justification and examples into the debate to back up your opinions.
  17. Jonny, come on sonny, let's be positive, have you any examples of how Cortese is really showing himself to be respectful of supporters and a shrewd businessman etc? Let's have a Cortese love-in and all talk about what a great PR man he is with some great examples.
  18. He didn't actually, the security did, he came out drinking his own cup of tea checking the the people in the queue got a cup of tea from the staff. Funny how some of the pro-stories of Cortese get dressed up where as the anti ones get shot down. ( I know you are being sarcy ;-) ) So... anymore examples?
  19. Let's have a nice positive thread. Can people list some points of great PR which Cortese has shown? Give me some examples where he has gone the extra mile for the fans / community?
  20. Installment Plan, it has been proved on here there is no cost to the club, I don't know why people are still so blind to it. If it was not a profitable system then can you please ask me why does every single club in the country with our level / larger support have an installment plan? With regards to the ticket tax, fair enough, in alot of walks I don't have an issue with a ticket tax, the club are not doing anything differently this season as to what they have done in previous seasons where there was no booking fee. The most transparant thing for the club to do would have been to whack each ticket up a quid or two, they have added the booking fee to increase the cost of a match ticket without people noticing too much. I could give you AT LEAST 10 reasons as to why the club are showing they don't want season ticket holders, I challenge anyone to give me 10 reasons as to how they have shown they are trying to maximise season ticket sales. I am willing to give £100 to a charity of their choice if anyone can match my reasons.
  21. LMFAO A decent businessman that says " We want to encourage people to purchase in advance " , then goes and makes the cheapest way for most to buy tickets buying at the box office on the day. Great business decision. lol That's just one example. Making kids prices more expensive for a Carling Cup game than it is for a league game? Yeah... priceless. lol Alot of his ticketing I swear he is just writing on the back of a fag packet.
  22. So out of a dozen points, you have picked out the last one and called me a tit, how brave. There was no reason to remove the STH priority. The tickets are on sale 6 weeks before FFS!!! And big boy, it might be only Bournemouth, but there are very limited seats available in the Northam, which happens to be the most popular stand, not to mention the fact that ST groups could have just sorted their own tickets out, now everyone needs to round money up and go buy together... it's an un-needed pain in the arse.
  23. The club don't want to engage with supporters and see them nothing more than a £ sign. If people are happy with that and will pay anything they charge then good luck to you, many many people won't though, and the club will suffer as a result.
