There is no point discussing things with Dulldays, when he is proved wrong he simply ignores it and pretends it never happens, this was proved yesterday when he called me a liar and bullsh!ter and making things up just to have a pop at Cortese when I said I was p!ssed off SFC hadnt announced the dates and country for the pre-season tour because I had intended on going. I showed him a thread I ( SRS ) started in January asking when details would be announced as I was going to attend the pre-season tour and wanted to book flights. He has ignored this point ever since. I think that says all we need to know about Dulldays, he is a very sad trolling little c*nt. For the record, if I am wrong and come the end of the season we have a marked higher attendances than last season, I will put my hands up and apologise, like I have done before if I have got something wrong. There is no point debating with Dulldays because he will never put his hand up and admit he was wrong, ignore is now the only option for old Uncle Albert.

I am quite arrogant in the way I present my opinion, I will grant you that, I suppose in the same way many people cannot put themselves in other peoples shoes to see the inconvenience of no installment plans, lack of notice etc, I am also guilty of not being able to appreciate that possibly as someone who works in sales/marketing/advertising I get a more qualified look on what is happening and it's more obvious to me that there is some very strange things going on at SMS. I have tried to break down and reason why I feel decisions that are being made are wrong to make them more easy to digest. I honestly would be massively surprised if we have more season tickets this year, so many factors are againsts it, even things such as Englands performance in the World Cup would have an affect on people, as football is put to the back of peoples minds over the next few weeks. The reality is we will never know how many season tickets holders we have, I very much doubt the club will announce it ( maybe someone could phone/email the ticket office, I don't think they are in the mood to talk to me at the moment! ) , I also think the attendance figures next season might have to rely on a bump up... less than half empty stadiums being given attendances of 20,000 Cortese has got this massively wrong and is going to be made to pay for not listening/taking advice off the experts employed at the club such as David Luker, Jordon Sibley etc etc

Bottom of the pile stuff, if you don't mind telling someone they have won a holiday and being hung up on/ told to f*ck off then crack on.

See with this bird, it's been nothing more than mates, but she suggested maybe it should be a bit more. I immediately sat down with her and discussed a few points. We negotiated that we could move to the Locks Heath area ( SO postcode ) but she wouldn't move to Southampton. We also discussed my role as potential step-father to her 5 year old son. After lengthy negotations we agreed that he would be banned from wearing any P*rtsmouth FC merchandise in my company, especially in public, and I was free to take him to St Marys in the hope of converting him to a Saint. Negotiations are still ongoing, but a promising start.

As I stated in another thread, I have enough experience and skills to have been offered a job by the club previously... so evidently more qualified to talk about it than you. Oh... and I know more about submarines and child porn than you too... so there.

Seeing as this is turning into a bit of a relationship forum. Would you go out with someone from P*rtsmouth? Namely Fratton? I used to be of the opinion they all should die, but at 30, maybe it's time i chilled a bit?

Yes I did forward my CV in a while ago, yes the club did contact me, yes I did attend an interview and yes I was offered a second interview ( which I was told was a job offer , and no, it was for sales and not burger sales ) . I got drunk after the Sheff Utd ( i think ) midweek game, we played sh!te, I got drunk and I sent an email telling them to poke their poxy job as I would never work for that ***t Lowe. The real reason was I knew from ITKness that the club was slipping into admin and didn't like the thought of risking redundancy/late wages. And also I didn't like the thought of running one of the corporate suites on a matchday and not being with my pals in the pub. Yes - Epic Fail. True story though.

Evidently so. Maybe next time he should take the advice of the person he employs to sort out the ticketing, rather than trying to do it all himself ( and making one massive balls up ) .

I will quite happily stick my neck on the line and predict we will not pack out St Marys next season, regardless of how well we start. People will start coming back in the 'business' end of the season - the last 3 or 4 home games. It's League 1 lads, doesn't matter how you dress it up, it's League 1. I think people should realise that. As for the Championship... the offers will be back, the installment plan and everything else, the club won't be able to guarantee success in the Champs, so they will have to bank as much cash at the start of the season. For the record I think most of the posters on here and SFC themselves are being very naive in thinking we can walk this league.

Thankyou for putting your head above the parapit. It is pretty clear that the club are actively discouraging renewals and indeed new season ticket sales. I have posted informative posts on how membership sales work, and how easy and affordable it is to advertise and market the season tickets. There is a wealth of information on google if people wanted to prove me wrong, yet nobody has done anything apart from say " you're wrong " simply because I am Stu and like a good argument. 91 out of 92 teams ( and SFC pre-Cortese, who still have the same ticket office manager now ) know that Season tickets is the best revenue spinner. If it wasn't then clubs wouldn't sell them. Why are SFC not doing it? Answer: Cortese thinks he has a complete blindly loyal fanbase that will show up each and every game, paying full price plus booking fee, turning up to at least 14 games a season on average. Which we all know won't happen. But people will disagree with this post, just because it's me. And then like Dulldays, when they are proved wrong, as he was about my comments about the pre-season tour, they will just ignore it and pretend it never happened. There will be " I told you so " moments over the next few months, there already has been, and there will be more, lack of open fans forum, hike in concourse food prices, memberships etc etc Maybe I should just sit back and enjoy them as they start rolling in...

Forget my opinions of how to sell tickets. 91 out of 92 clubs pro-actively sell season tickets. Are they all wrong and Cortese is right?
