The translation of that says that it's on our official website... uh oh. -
But also a good deal for us, if that makes sense.

Dafydd Pritchard of BBC Sport: Swansea City have agreed a fee with Southampton for midfielder Jack Cork, who has held talks with the Swans.
-
@SimonPeach: As far as I'm aware, Cork's representatives waiting to hear back from Les Reed after sending over latest thoughts on contract yesterday.
-
@SimonPeach: News from my PA colleague in south Wales, @philblanche, is that Swansea are in talks with Cork but that no fee agreed yet with #SaintsFC.

Well, not since he left Holland anyway. I reckon Koeman can get the best of out him though... -

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Iberia, aren't release clauses compulsory? Every player has one in Spain, at least. -

Serbian international. 22 years old. Plays anywhere across the front three. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2929956/Southampton-sign-Serbia-international-Filip-Djuricic-loan-Benfica.html

Selection of videos here, after Les visited the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's annual convention in Philadelphia. He had a range of questions put to him about what we do at Saints, coaching, and youth football philosophy more widely. You can select a question and see his answer, here: https://www.youtube.com/user/CoachingManualUK/videos

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jack-cork-handed-48-hour-contract-5036326 I think, if Jack was going to sign he would have by now. We can't offer those assurances to him, so he'll move on. If we can get Vilhena now for £4m, do it. Then sell Cork to reclaim some of that, and tidy the wage bill up a bit. We then replace a player who is set to turn 26 soon with a player that has just turned 20 and rated as a top Dutch talent. Go for it. I like Cork, but he's not irreplaceable and we can't be held to ransom either.

You'd think so - but I've seen people with the beer bottles countless times in the Kingsland and Northam.
-
I thought it was quite amusing.

Well, from what they posted on their Twitter account, explaining why they were thanking him - they said he played 186 times. They've listed the following honours too... 3 league titles 1 Dutch cup 1 Johan Cruyff Cup - (community shield)

Toby left Ajax for Atletico and hadn't had a chance to go back, seemingly. Dutch clubs like a good send-off, so they invited him back because he had a great record with them. Obviously with him now being sidelined, he could go there and it was fine with both TA and SFC.

Hooiveld to return and then head to Millwall?

Not strictly Saints-related, this past weekend Toby went back to Amsterdam for his 'official farewell' from Ajax. Classy stuff, nicely done.
-
League position will affect wage structure, potential bonuses, competition appearance fees and the like. I think he'll leave, be it this summer or next, but I can see why it makes sense to wait. This season, more than ever, is crucial in terms of seeing where our wage structure will stand.

Paul Mitchell's replacement, then...
