  1. Bit of a speed demon, on and off the field... (see Wiki for details)
  2. I consider him to be a steady PL defender. His best traits are his timing of interceptions and blocks. From time to time he misses a block or a goal deflects in off him, and the loons go mad.
  3. So, after today... approaching just 6 months left on his deal. Yay or nay to giving him a new contract? I still say 'yay'.

  6. God damn Maya Yoshida and his late goal sliding under the radar as the report was being written... ...even when he does score, it's inconvenient.

  8. GOALS: Lukaku OG (37), Pellè (65), Yoshida (82). SAINTSWEB MATCH REPORT: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?532-MATCH-REPORT-SAINTS-2-0-Everton-Barclays-Premier-League Saints end their winless run with a convincing victory over Everton at St. Mary's. Over to you...
  9. Try looking under the 'match previews' header. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?10-match-previews
  10. You know seeing as it's got a blue tick, meaning it is verified, and the fact Nigel has confirmed it is him in interviews, means it is a genuine account, yeah?
  11. @TheNigelAdkins: Good morning. Thank you for taking the time this week to post your thoughtful comments, I've read them all. Happy Christmas. #thankyou

  14. That's the aim... Anyway, it'll all become clearer in the coming weeks.
  15. It's about time you replied. Quite a few of us come on here to read and don't want to read through pages and pages of your 25,000 + posts of crap. Hopefully this won't discourage a few of the good posters who don't bother any more and you can see why from returning. Just on a note Turkish, when I find out a bit of info or have some breaking news, I tend to credit my source or provide a link, rather than pass it off as my own on Twitter. Thanks, and feel free to continue trying to be the forum comedian with naff jokes and pot shots and digs at others from behind your anonymity. Have a good day.
  16. So, I'm picking up the poisoned chalice and attempting to keep the SaintsWeb news section packed with previews, reviews, other pieces and rumour-round ups and summary articles of the coverage Saints are receiving in the press! Wish me luck. Below is the SaintsWeb preview piece for the Sheffield United game, hopefully we can use these to lead match threads in future? Who knows! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?525-PREVIEW-Sheffield-United-vs-SAINTS-Capital-One-Cup-Quarter-Final Anyway, if you could do me a favour and check out this thread, also, that'd be fantastic - thanks: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?52721-Explanation-on-the-future-of-the-news-section-Sheffield-United-preview-now-live!#.VI9WNV4qdSU
  17. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?525-PREVIEW-Sheffield-United-vs-SAINTS-Capital-One-Cup-Quarter-Final So... we're looking at getting back into regularly updating the 'news' side of the site, and that's something I've agreed to do (or try, at least!) from now on, moving forward. It's clearly in need of updating and from now on I'll look to do match previews, post-match summaries, the latest rumour round-ups and look to amalgamate Saints coverage into one section of the website (you might have seen me doing such amalgamation on my Twitter feed!) Just to raise awareness this time, I thought I'd post this one up like this - but in future, it'll just go straight into the pre-match thread. I've got a previous formula that I like to think works, so I've gone with that for now - I intend to bring back the extensive looks at pre-season opponents that I carried out the other summer also, if they're popular. Anyway, let us know what you think and how best we can 'fine-tune' that section of the SaintsWeb website. Many thanks! Saint-Armstrong
  18. @TheNigelAdkins: Thank you to everyone for your support, in my time at Reading FC especially Andy Crosby + Dean Wilkins.
  19. Shame, he went into the season without adequate backing due to the mystery disappearance of that Russian chap, and only recently has a takeover happened. Bangor - success Scunny - success Saints - success Reading - failure He should get a good job, good luck to him.
  20. FULL-TIME: Manchester United 3-0 Liverpool
