Now a sticky. Is it official ?
Did something at SFC die today, or did it actually die back in January and it has been twitching its death throes ever since ?
Hummel are sh*te.
I reckon we are going to do a full circle. Back to white t-shirts with a red sash over the shoulders like a primary school netball lesson.
Yes along with her :
" no point keeping someone who doesnt want to stay"
" many applications received already"
" few irons in the fire"
" take our time and get the right man"
" radio station and catering the envy of the Premiership"
I dont understand the "giving up" sentiment, but yes, the latest turn affairs will cement our place in the heirarchy of English football as a mickey-mouse, zero-ambition, mediocre-mid-table also-ran of a club.
I agree with you; thats exactly what I am saying. Our board arent serious enough about moving forwards, and their vision is utter pants if a club with the managerial history of Spurs is more attractive.
We would have been better off if KL had put us up for sale.
The manager of a club like Saints deciding to go to Spurs is like turkeys voting for Xmas (which is as long as he'll last..)
Why is it more attractive, if it isnt that you dont like what's on offer ?
Dont forget:
"lots of applications"
"few irons in the fire"
"not going to rush, going to take our time to get the right man"
before appointing someone like Sturrock or Gray.
I hope the clappies STFU with their continual abuse of those who dare to express concern about the summer from now on, seeing as Phase 1 of our new decline is about to take effect.
