Can you really see us engaging better than Shaw and Lallana ? How can it possibly be viewed as anything but a step backwards ?
-
Deary me. It gets worse. And the likes of Turkish, Barry and Glasgow get accused of WUMing.....
-
Being an idiot doesnt make him definitely a skate, even if the statistical evidence, environment and demographics support the theory.
-
Christ, what a retarded comment. The attitude is the reason, especially if it is shared at the club. Not the posts.

I feel sick. We are throwing away the legacy of the last 5 years. We must be in serious money trouble, or KL has lied and RK is just an asset-stripper.

Cant believe some of the "Lets bend over for the Big Club and take it from behind" posts I am reading. Thats why SFC will never make it to the next level.

If anything happens before the WC, we have the wrong board...

Is there any evidence out there that he is a skate ?

Nice post. -
Better the devil-you-know, dude.

If we sell before the WC, it indicates genuine weakness or stupidity in our board, or something much, much worse - that the "financial difficulties" are more than being made out.
-
Yep, despite the fact he will have never played for them. I see that sort of ignorance all the time over here
-
Wow, you have time to dredge up 4 year-old threads ? Respect And if you can only find 4 over 4 years, only one of which criticised NC and was borne out of frustration/impatience, I must thank you for demonstrating once-and-for-all that the notion of me being a WUM/troll is a myth.
-
Oh dear. What did he do ??
-
For the very first time, now the boot is on our foot, I can understand the argument that it is difficult to secure new players before the WC. Seriously, all the rumours about Adam, Luke, Rickie, Dejan and even maybe Morgan if he somehow survives the cut, can be put to bed; why would SFC accept fees now knowing the player's value may rise by a significant percentage if they play well in the WC ?
-
Yep. We were a couple of players away from making the top 6 sweat; if Osvaldo had worked out and Ramirez has tried to earn hsi pay and justify his transfer fee (watch him be 100% for the WC), we might have done it this season. I am gutted that the 5-year party is over (even if there were times I didnt enjoy). And I dont understand those making excuses or trying to rationalise its end. NCs presence will be sorely missed this summer.
-
I am expecting an early kit announcement this summer to deflect attention from the gutting of the squad.

I reckon this is the best post you've ever written - by a long way.. -
If Mopo goes, how highly will criticism of his handling of the FA cup this season feature in his list of reasons ?
-
Well, I can kind of understand why you have written that, though it would have been even better if you hadnt included your usual sprinkling of hysterical embellishments such as me moaning about Les Reed. The only time I can remember commenting on him was following his statement a couple of weeks ago, which I described as "reassuring". Yep, I can freely admit to erring on the negative side and setbacks get me really down sometimes. But I am not a WUM or a troll. I love my club, and I am not denying the massive overall improvement over the last 5 years; our standing in English football now is testimony to that. Nevertheless, I stand by my latest opinion; we have peaked; the squad is likely to be eviscerated this summer, MoPo doesnt appear to want to stay, and Ralfie is making soundbites with no action like a footballing equivalent of Barak Obama. The latest shirt sponsor decision to me indicates we are still small-time with limited ambition.

This. For me, it was the first indicator that the drive and ambition was gone, and the peak in our stellar rise had been passed....
