Sorry, cant agree on this occasion. My only criticism of Cortese was his transfer activity was a bit hit-or-miss....... Wanyama, Lovren, Davis, Clyne all look quality buys, a couple of the others (no names needed) look like absolute disasters.

Sorry, dont get your point at all (if there is one). Just because I dont live in the city any more, does not make what I have written automatically wrong.

The way I see it, Mopo wants to see the new executive get on board the vision that Cortese sold to him. Understandably, considering the utter disasters that Ramirez and Osvaldo have turned out to be, KL and the board are a bit "reluctant". Theres a battle of wills underway, imo. If the board really want to keep the club meeting forwards, Mopo to stay, the players to stay because Mopo is staying, they have to come up with a number to satisfy him for transfers. I reckon a compromise can be found, Mopo will get the ballpark number he wants, but he will probably need to accept Gashy is going (Osvaldo is as good as gone anyway). -

Really blew up in their face, didnt it ? Mourinho is a f**king genius. He shafted Rodgers good-and-proper. Maybe Fergie did quit because he knew Mourinho would have the better of him. -

My kids have all learned to use the potty and go nappy-free in the summer following their 2nd birthday. So I dont understand 5 year-olds wearning nappies. My fourth kid is not even 2 and he is already telling us when he wants to go to the loo. Having said that, this parental laziness is not a British thing, in fairness. A few years ago I went to a Kindergarten parents evening for my now 10 year old, and there were gasps from some parents when one explained her son was fully potty-trained at 3. -

Interesting that the Guardian's weekly 10 talking points are now tipping Clyne to get a call from Woy. -
As someone born and "bread" (copyright DullDays) in Swaything, I reserve the right to call those areas as I see them. I like Poles and feel they have made a positive contribution to British life in one way or another, going all the way back to the Battle of Britain.

Excellent post slightly degraded by the tedious worn-out hack I have highlighted.

Christ there are some pedantic responses on this thread. Almost certainly because it was me who started it. Yes, we have beaten Everton since then (but actually not so often); the point was about how Everton havent had so much riding on a result against us before. As almost certainly all of you knew..

Great performance, fantastic result. 8th place all but ours. Not fantastically chuffed about Adams post-match comments, though. -
10% hardly constitutes full.... And as the Daily Mail article points out, they make a darned sight bigger contribution to the city economy than chavs in areas like Thornhill, Lordshill, Millbrook and Swaythling.

Why ? The season is almost over, and barring a typical Saints-scale screw-up, we will finish 8th. I'd rather focus on the future, and the statement puts a whole new light on it. hillarious I am now being challenged for taking something in a positive spirit -

Yes. I took the question at face value and have reflected my feeling about Saints. Give over with the pedantry. -
WTF ? Where are our 2 goals going to come from ?
