kick off at 1830 local time -
I dont have a private UK pension... But if you cant see that a large amount of people in the UK are going to suffer massive hardship in their old age (if fact, at any age considering the amount of corporate tax BP pays) if the Obama administration is permitted to bleed BP to death, then I cant help you. Whether BP exists or not, some oil company will be out there, taking those cost-saving risks..

What a truly dumb short-sighted attitude.

Doesnt prove anthing. He may have targeted 3 players, and Lovren and VW simply topped this list for 2 of the 3 positions we identified to strengthen.
-
Well, he did go on about Klingons off the starboard bow. Or was that The Firm ?
-
We need to spend several billions as a nation for that to occur, I'm afraid...

Sorry, after witnessing two soft goals against Schalke on Wednesday, I see it as being a bit more fundamental than that. Seems the transfer committee still hasnt completely got its hear round the issues of our defence from last season. Interesting to note that NC meant 3 transfers in total in that DM interview, not 3 main transfers. Maybe that July 1st deadline and being complete for pre-season was regarded as a realistic prospect if only 3 newcomers were planned, but as we know the VW transfer and striker have been protracted affairs. Assuming we get the striker, we are still a CB and a winger short. Maybe also a GK.

No, just a bit of a geek for such things. -
The last Ford Transits have rolled of the Swaythling production line

Its possible, but I think the authorities want it to be used for industrial/business purposes. -

Because its on the cheap. I refuse to believe its not possible to improve the 2087 already in serivce. And it almost certainly means a capability gap in the T23s in their last years of service. Like the T42s having no SeaDart system for the last 2 or 3 years of service. Its also going to be the middle of the century before we think of a T27, so the T26s will be obsolete. -
His f**king index finger can light up, and he can turn a Speak 'n Spell into an intergalactic communication device, for all I care.

Yes. First steel to be cut in 2015 (yeah, right...) first in service 2021, 13 units planned ( ) The French/Italian ones are already putting to sea... Oh, and they are going to rip out the sonars of the T23s and re-use them -

So the T45s have got their Harpoons, have they ? And did they manage to scrape enough Vulcan Phalanx systems together by ripping them off the carriers eventually ? -

Have any Astutes entered full service yet ? Or are they still "practising" ? and when will the T45s be fully armed ? And if either of those QE carriers ever enters service with aircraft, I will run onto the pitch at SMS starkers. -

We will get 2 T26 frigates in 50 years time to replace the 13 remaining T23s. -

What do you mean ? The Type 22 Batch 3 were the most heavily armed frigate the RN ever had. And couldnt they carry 2 Lynx comapred to the T23 single ? -

Not RN though, is it ? Come on then Jamie, which class of RN frigate was more capable ? -
9 year old was heartbroken we lost. He'll learn 12 year old invaded the pitch at the end and accosted Mayuka. Thought it was a great laugh. I reminded him if he does that next time we are at St. Marys he'll get a lifetime ban.

Very sad, but it seemed to be this was inevitable, and actually the factory was lucky to stay open as long as it did. I remember every time a new model was introduced, there would be the discussion "Genk or us ?". Ford doesnt produce a single vehicle in the UK anymore. They just used us to get a foothold in Europe. -
Sadly, wasnt too impressed with JWP the other night. Mind you, that second half team were pants all-round, so it was difficult for him to achieve anything.
-
Exactly. Idiotic and a waste of resources it may be. But it is NOT racist. Typical LibDem sh*t-stirring.

I've just had an hillarious phone call from the missus. The mother of one of my sons's classmates has just called her. One of her friends is working at Schloss Velden, where Saints are staying. Apparently the staff down there are having a few "communication problems" with the large number of English-speakers in the hotel. I do not know if this specifically refers to our lads or not. My wife has been asked to run some conversational English classes for a couple of the staff who understand English well but are shy of talking it (a common problem over here).
