1. I dont know how you can put a cash value on it apart from the 10s of millions we lose if we DONT stay up. 2. The basic premise, as seen after 3 games, is flawed (that the triumvirate of Fonte, Hooiveld and Yoshida will do the job) 3. By which time we may be well adrift any incapable of catching up. This is the PL, FFS. Did we manage to catch up after Wigley screwed the 2004/05 season ? 4. Yes, absolutely. But decent CBs and LBs are not going to be free agents, imo. 5. How will that revolution reach the defence ??
