  1. Happy with the point against the in-form team of the League, but : We were always second to the ball. Brum looked more aggressive and more hungry. We are still trying to walk the ball into the net Fox, imho, looked off the pace all afternoon and not suprised he ended up getting a red card. In fairness, Richardson was not much better either. Puncheon looks good I dont understand Schneiderlin getting the nod over Hammond.
  2. If only we could dig deep and from somewhere eek out a win this afternoon...the rest of todays results mean we would right back in there.
  3. My memory of that defeat in Euro 96 is vague;a red haze descended because of the c**t Möller showboating. Was it Southgate who missed ?
  4. And he acknowledged them after the last goal.
  5. Skinner's accent is hillarious.
  6. This, especially the highlighted bit. Its not an England team, its a merchandising clique. Going to laugh at John Terry and Wayne Rooney f**king up our Euro 2012 campaign...
  7. He did. Hoddle is a c**t. Wonder how Matty really felt when he became our manager.
  8. One of the biggest miscarriages of justice ever to afflict the English game...
  9. That is a masterpiece. I am going to keep a few extracts in reserve for a rainy day...
  10. If were the FA, I would either keep Terry as Captain or end his England career. SA 2010 proved that he is a nightmare to have in the sqaud under any circumstances except Captain. And I dont think the FA have the nerve to end his England career, so it means Euro 2012 will be a colossal f**k-up too..
  11. Excellent news. The end of one of the most oily, sneaky, self-obsessed, ambitious career-minded tw*ts ever to have graced Westminster. If I had been Clegg and Cameron, I would have been looking over my shoulder at him the whole time
  12. OK, his flying career was over, but they discharged him on medical grounds, meaning he kept all his dues. Presumably it would have drawn attention to the government and a defence policy that couldnt stand up to scrutiny if they court martialled him. When his case was heard, finally 14 yrs later, he was partially exonerated !! Did the trbiunal listening to that agree Wilson and Sandys were prats ? (not much argument from me...) In present times, the time to have done this was definitely the Harrier's last flight last year. Most of those pilots are probably out of the RAF now anyway.
  13. and stuck the middle digit up at Camerloon ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawker_Hunter_Tower_Bridge_incident
  14. B*ll*cks. They'd hate us even more for saving them. Look at the nastiness that comes from Bournemouth fans whenever we go near them, and we've propped them up loads of times.
  15. Wrong place to admit that considering your position in the popularity stakes round here.
  16. What, like all the English mongs who have stolen a White Ensign from their ships flag locker and then got Mummy to stich the name of their home town on it ?
  17. In fairness, I dropped my objection as soon as I realised the Rising Sun is back in everyday use again; I originally thought it was taboo like the swastika.
  18. Yep, you are right. It was banned in 1945, but re-introduced as naval ensign in 1954. Didnt know that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rising_Sun_Flag Still found offensive across Asia though.
  19. Correct. When I wrote "right-hand" I meant on the right in the picture, not which hand was holding what.
  20. Exactly. Allied PoWs were treated horrifically by the Japs. I have no problem with the modern day Japanese flag, but I see a resonance of the Imperial Japanese flag with that of Nazi Germany.
  21. Isnt the right-hand flag somewhat akin to taking a Nazi Germany flag (red background, white circle, black swastika) to the game ?
  22. Hammond.
