First of all, quit the patronising b*ll*cks. I have given my genuine opinion on the thread - started by someone else. Why the f**k should we wait to until the end of the season to discuss how things are shaping up ? Because you f**king well say so ? If you dont like it, dont read these threads. The way Brighton, Huddersfield and Peterborough are grinding results out (pummeling in Peterborough's case) mean we look like we need to win all our remaining games to be sure of a top 2 finish. Our results might "have been good", but we certainly are not performign like those three teams, and I have (and I am sure I am not alone considering the comments about the Sheff Wed game on here) the sinking feeling that the next "Let's not turn up" game on a par to Walsall or Tranmere, or inability to concentrate for 90mins on a par to Peterborough is just around the corner. I couldnt give a flying f**k what the bookmakers say, and I really dont get why people like you keep quoting odds to justify your own opinions. I know what my team is like and how they perform. Have a bit more respect for the opinions of others or SOD OFF.

I'm sure this thread will attract the usual tedious "wrist slitting" dismissive comments, but it is extremely hard to avoid the basic conclusion that, with the other teams around us achieving such a high level of performance, the only way to guarantee second place is to win all our games. And we badly need to make those games-in-hand count.... I am not sure there are still twists and turns ahead, the end of the season is not that far away. The loss of that 2-goal lead twice at Peterborough, and throwing the Walsall game away unecessarily, are looking huge at the moment...

Huddersfield got a last minute goal ? I just found out. FFS Sick to death with the banal platitudes about "ups and downs", "due a loss in form", "twists and turns"......... Brighton, Huddersfield and Peterborough are from my perspective going for it with a lot more f**king guts and gusto than Saints are who, lets be honest, are still not playing particularly well. Our next banana skin is just round the corner, while they just carry on hammering for the finish line like juggernauts

See what you mean. I would fancy us in the playoffs if the current table were the final table. I reckon the current MK Dons and Huddersfield would knacker the crap out of each other, and Bournemouth should hold any fear for us seeing how we've beaten them 3 times this season already.

Its one goal and Posh have probably taken the foot off the gas, FFS. This game is over already. Posh arent Saints.
-
They have the points in the bag, and are scoring for fun. They are in the driving seat.

Who rattled your cage ?

You dont have a f**king clue about football, hence your predilection for irrelevant statistics.
-
Our destiny is still in our hands. Just. If we keep winning, it is scheiß egal if they put 20 past every team between now and the end of the season.

You really are a smug arrogant little ar*e sometimes.

Thankyou. I can subtract 25 from 32 as well...

We won by 2 goals on Saturday and they won by 6. Idiot

Our GD advantage is evaporating by the game............

Quit your foul demented rants and breathe deeply.....

We're going to regret not upping that offer...

I am beginning to f**king hate Peterborough
-
Yep. Recalling him must be just about the most bonkers proposal I've read on here. It even overshadows Dalek's posts about Hoddle.
-
Absolutely f**king mental. Let's disrupt the squad and screw our run-in, just as it looks like it is coming together, shall we ?
-
Recently we seem to do better when we arent playing. Lets hope our form continues !!!

Why is this thread still bumping along the bottom ? Puncheon is hiss-torrrrr-eeee where SFC is concerned.

Bournemouth 1 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction
alpine_saint replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Normally I am in complete agreement with you Wes (and argue like buggery with Turkish), but in fairness, conceding a goal and suddenly letting the initiative pass to the opposition leading to letting the whole game slip, is in our nature. Look no further back than Peterborough - twice. -
Complete b*ll*cks
