Yes, heaven forbid someone express their impressions on a football chat site, eh ?
-
No, I use the term "Happy Clappy" because only those individuals were banging on about putting him in. Very well spotted with the spelling mistake, btw, hope it made your day.
-
Its based on the fact that he isnt good enough. I have been listening to happy-clappies going on for 2 years about Lanacshire making the step up, and he's been sh*t every chance he's had.
-
Well that is even worse news then.
-
B*ll*cks. He isnt good enough.
-
Our season is finished if we are planning to include Lancashire.
-
Almost as bad news as Trotman's loss of form over the second half of his loan. I have a bad feeling our season is about to fall apart.
-
Bit of a red herring this, Charlie. We beat MK Dons when they were in the top six.
-
Attention seeker.
-
Excellent summary. Some people wont be told though.
-
He's getting his team selections wrong, and the team lacks mental and physical strength still. I am sure he will get it right, but for now, I am concerned.
-
The problem is that these tactics work, and we have to get past all this sh*t to get back to the top echelon. I am more concerned by the fact that Saints managers are obsessed with playing pretty football (for this level), and are unable to get "ugly" when the situation demands it. Burley was incapable too.

You are right, but after the last 2 months or so excitement of clearly heading in the right direction and believing the plan to get us back to the CCC in 2 years, finishing a god-awful year for us on another downer has inevitably reopened some doubts, especially if we dont go up this year, Pardew will be at square one again next summer (albeit not on -10 and with a pre-season to prepare)
-
Would signings in January strengthen the team or upset the balance?

Reckon the answer to this one is clear now, especially for the defence. -
I didnt post after the Exeter game, this is true, simply because my internet connection went down over Xmas. As I have indicated elsewhere, I was very ill for the two first weeks of December, so I apologise for my absence. As I mentioned at the beginning of the post that has caused this umbrage, we have been winning lots and it makes us feel good, but today is a reality check like no other we have received since the Bristol Rovers home game. Brighton could be put down to a freak performance from them, Leeds due to their quality and position in the table, but this one hits a nerve, because the Colchesters of this word are the teams we need to measure ourselves against for a play-off place.
-
Yeah, heaven forbid someone dare to express an opinion less-than-gushing about a team that is far from the finished article
-
Reckon they will stay for the season and go in the summer, leaving AP back at square one.
-
Is Papa so unfit that he can only be thrown on for 30mins as an impact sub ? Or is AP suffering from the usual "Saintsmanagerblindspotitis" that we've come to know and love ?
-
Look, I am willing to wait 2 seasons to get into the CCC, really I am. But AP is trying to build a team, and I fear he will be starting again in June if we dont do it this year, because Lallana, Lambert and a few others will be off. This has all the feell about it for me of Burley having had all that money to spend in the play-off season but knowing the consequence if we didnt make it,

What is it with Saints managers and their little b*m-ch*ms ???
