You are right, I just need to go a bit further with my research and my devious thinking. I mean, if I were really desperate I could probably sit and get ****ed in a betting cafe over here when I know Saints are on Sky and get them to switch one channel to English football. I just find it odd that I can pick up radio1, 2, 3,4, etc. on the internet feed but as soon as sports coverage starts it all goes "tilt"

Its Astra2D for the BBC and Astra2A/B for Sky at 28.2deg E, but if you go to the SES/Astra website, you will see that Astra2D has such a tight footprint on the UK, you need a 1.5m dish to pick up in France and about 2.4m to guarantee picking up the Beeb here in Austria, which is marginally smaller than Jodrell Bank. And you still need a UK subscription address for the SKY card and box, which for the first year has to be connected to a UK phone line. Its nigh-well impossible to do for new subscriptions. I should have brought my old one with me, but decided not to. Big mistake :-(

You dont know that nothing was done. I have had a lot of communication with mods about the infraction system, since I have picked up infractions and been banned. They've pointed out to me that they take reported posts very seriously, as their only way of fool-proofingly policing the site. They do not sit and police all posts on all threads, they dont have the time. They do not enter into dicussions with people about the infractions other people pick up, so you dont know what action they took, but I am prepared to go out on a limb and say that they probably did something about it.

I'm still here, you are about to depart.
