  1. Did he move to the area ??? Did he knuckle down and get on with it when Baird and Jones left ?
  2. Ahh shifting the goal-post now. Riiight:rolleyes: My Dad is bigger than yours.
  3. The spin of the roulette while was a worthwhile risk for the potential rewards - IF we had had someone committed, ambitious and competent in charge at the time.
  4. You really are a complete idiot. I have mentioned on here SEVERAL times that I have been over and saw Brentford and Birmingham, and I watched the whole Millwal game on the net. So give it a rest with your tired, moronic, tedious, repetitive cliches..
  5. Amazing how few people grasp this. Wilde, Hone and co put the money on red, whilst Burley caused black to come up. Looking back, it is CRIMINAL that he was allowed to set the lottery of the playoffs as his target, considering the money he had to spend. And then he gives the first peno to Leon Best......
  6. I am delighted. Never has a team and a manager been more deserving of each other,
  7. Nope. As I said earlier, its a win-win situation for me.
  8. For what its worth, I hope I am wrong too...
  9. Amazing how many people have a problem with concept of "opinion". I dont rate Lallana or Schneiderlin as players. They might have skill and talent, but its only part of what is required to be a good player. The likes AndyNorthernSaints need to learn to deal...with....it.
  10. So, what's wrong with loaning them out, getting them off the wage bill, and getting loans or more out-of-contract players in ? Arent Trotman and Melis loans ?
  11. Ah. They are both paying you, then.
  12. Yes, he probably could do well in the Prem, if he has the likes of Wenger mentoring him. He's not what we need for League 1, imo.
  13. Yep, again its all black-and-white. Someone else point out to Wild-saint that Jaidi was signed outside of the trasnfer window, please. Apparently I bore him....
  14. Has Schneiderlin scored for us at all ? Strong contender for Most Overrated Player at Saints, currently, imo.
  15. How do you blame Rickie Lambert for no supply ? We know he has scored for fun in other teams How do you blame Trotman, Perry, Harding for succumbing to pressure when the midfield arent helping by playing too deep ?
  16. Its a win-win situation. He goes, we get a good laugh He stays, Scotland continue to be utter gash.
  17. Dont worry, TDD, wild-saint has a problem with subtlety. If we fail to win on Saturday, more of the old team (Lallana, Schneiderlin, etc.) need to be shown the door.
  18. So, The bar in the Kingsland is staying open after final whistle on Saturday. I am wondering how that one got round the council and the boys with blue tits on their heads...
  19. I wouldnt take it personally. If you ask a Skate fan they would probably say it was 180degrees other way before 2004. Media institutions like Solent simply follow the success/glamour/populist route
  20. So what ? The team nucleus ( ca. 7 of the players) has been together for 10 games.
  21. You are like a dog with a bone, do you know that ? Is Burley or the SFA paying you ? As an aside, it seems he's managed to slime his way into keeping the Scottish job - for now.
  22. Strange, I thought scoring early seemed to unsettle us... The real psychological barrier to overcome seems to be the second goal.
  23. The season will be 6 weeks old, the amount of time we are supposed to have lost due to Pinnacle. We will also have played 10 competitive games - a reasonable amount of gelling time. In my opinion, this match represents a strong indicator of how the season will pan out. Even Illingsworth is saying the excuses are wearing thin...
  24. If I were AP, I would tell the players to expect this, and also inform them its time to grow up and rise to the challenge.
