  1. Whenever I take my oldest one, I tell him that the swearing can happen, and that if he makes minor curses that remain within the confines of SMS for the two-hour duration of the match, I will turn a blind eye. At the end of the game I remind him that if he swears outside SMS he will be punished.
  2. Fairy muff. Nothing suprises me about this place anymore, however, and some people have been posting genuine comments similar to that this week.
  3. Pot, Kettle, Black. At least I had the courage to name my obsession. First step to being cured of something is accepting there is an issue. So I am one step ahead of you. Actually, the first step is having a Swiss billionaire come in and buy full ownership, thus ensuring this time round that said individual is consigned to the anals of history once-and-for-all..
  4. Oh, the irony...
  5. That works BOTH ways............
  6. You'll saying anything ridiculous to defend your beloved Rupert...........
  7. What a load of b*ll*cks. You cant give a single example supporting that comment.
  8. My oldest is 8 and he goes for the chicken Balti pies...
  9. hehehe
  10. So speaks the voice of our "Yoof" contingent...
  11. FFS.
  12. I took my 5 year old to the Brentford game. But I bought tickets for the Chapel end (I usually sit in Kingsland). He really enjoyed the whole experience - except the 30mins of the first half where he slept with his head on my lap.
  13. Reckon this is pretty close to the mark, myself. Therefore, it would be nice if two things were to happen : 1. The continual Crouch detractors shut the f*ck up forever - he did more for this club in its hour of need than Lowe, Wilde, Askham et al ever did. 2. The continual bleating about the wasted "Pinnacle" time were to stop. Its water under the bridge, and we should focus on the fact that at least we still have the club and at worst progress has only been put back for one season.
  14. Wow, sarcasm from Torres, now there's a first. My reaction was based on the comment someone made "his ankle has gone". If it was a precautionary substitution, I am delighted.
  15. Facing another 38 games of Lallana running round like a headless chicken and giving the opposing goalkeeper practice at catching from crosses and corners does not exactly fill me with anticipation...
  16. I am currently sitting here reading this thread, and visualising our season flying off into the sunset.....
  17. And as you are fully aware, Dunc, Pinnacle passed that test (somehow).
  18. Hope the dopey sod has learnt his lesson.
  19. Agreed. Some people seem to have clearly forgotten that the top remit of an administrator is to recover as much of the debt as possible by getting as much as possible for the assets...
  20. What a load of rot.
  21. I have seen Saints play twice this season so far. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
  22. Oh, wow, someone else spouting the same p*ssing contest nonsense. You obviously know absolutely jack-sh*t about football if you think our midfield is doing the business.
  23. Another crap thread. Saganowski will score if the incompetent f**kwits like Lallana and Schneiderlin give him service.
  24. Yes, I did - thanks
  25. Agreed. The only reason fans have got overly-excited is that he is potentially the one chance to solve a couple of serious shortcomings with the team that have been apparent for ages - width and pace. To describe him as a Messiah or as some sort of second-coming is just unecessary theatrics.
