  1. Yep, I've really demanded that, havent I ??? I expressed frustration that nothing has been concluded. What is it that you have such problem understanding ?
  2. Someone please advise this individual that the whole purpose of this chatsite is for Saints fans and followers to express their opinions, with or without emotional content, on issues related to SFC......
  3. Oh dear...
  4. hehehehe. Football matches and restaurant visits are extremely similar, since they both represent expensive consumer choices on how to spend leisure time.
  5. The whole reason for the frisson of fear doing the rounds at the moment are a few rumours that because the last couple of attendances havent been all that was hoped, we arent even going to make it to the end of the season. If Crouch and Pearson had been here still, with Crouch putting a friendlier and more fan-oriented slant on the club communications, and Pearson motivating and employing tactics that actually, well, made sense and getting better results because of them, I am certain attendances over the 23-odd games would have held up better, let alone the last 3 games. Ergo, we would have been in a lot less money trouble and would ahve made it through the season and perhaps not even ended up in admin. I have seen nothing to indicate Crouch would not have made the necessary cost cuts to keep us going. After all, he made the unpopular decision to loan out Rasiak and Skacel.
  6. Why dont you discuss the issue or go-forth-and-multiply ?
  7. Simply put, the course we took from the start of this season precluded us ending up here.. I wonder how different things would have been under Crouch and Pearson
  8. You tell me how adminstration was avoidable under the unpopularity and shiit football of the previous regime...
  9. Crap. If we the potential bidders knew exactly where we stood, the value of the club and assets would be known, making the sale easier.
  10. Fair enough, but I reckon the numbers involved are miniscule.
  11. He's talking about FL indecision, not administration, and you bloody know it.
  12. They have decent players and Premiership status. Two things we dont have.
  13. How do you suggest convincing fans fed up with watching shiite that they should continue to fork out at least 25 quid, more like 50 quid, every 2 weeks ? If you go to a restaurant and there are c ockroaches all over your foie gras, do you go there again ? Many football fans are interested in being ENTERTAINED, not the diick-swinging contest about who is the greatest fan..
  14. I still think there is more hope for a decent long-term future for the club now, but I admit am starting to suffer from impatience and frayed nerves. And just to let you know - I didnt think it was the "best thing that could happen", so grow up a bit. I didnt bring SFC to this point - Lowe and Wilde did.
  15. So the League hasnt helped us by postponing their decision. There again, if Lowe had had the balls to go for voluntary admin a week before (FFS), maybe the picture would be clearer for potential bidders.
  16. I've commented on this a couple of times. The physical assets belong to SLH, not SFC, which really only owns the player's contracts. Therefore, considering the set of players we currently have :-( I dont think there is much of interest in SFC if the council buys SMS.
  17. And we owe Notts County for McGoldrick. I would suggest these two issues alone give the Football League all the ammo they need to dock us points next season.
  18. That seems a fair statement, but the question is, of course, if the club can last that long ? Surely it is not in the interest of a new owner to take the club to the very edge of liquidation, and risk an even bigger points deduction ?
  19. We have a great stadium, and potentialy a great fan base, yet 2 weeks after administration is called, the only likely buyer of a club asset is the f**king council. Is this adminstrator doing his f**king job properly ?
  20. Mixed feelings. Yes, it annuls the biggest debt of the parent company, and ensures that the place stays a football stadium. However, the club will not feel "whole" again, and I worry that such a move may prevent a genuine bidder buying the club lock, stock and barrel and setting it up properly. Its preferable to the club going under, but as someone else has said, if this happens it means that all of the other 30-odd enquiries were either a joke or have no funds.
  21. Hopefully, a lot of them saw the writing on the wall and start demanding COD this season.
  22. Indeed... Someone needs to tell that fool that liquidation hasnt happened yet.
  23. Its called a difference of opinion - you should try it, you boring sod. Besides, where have I said, even once, that I want SFC to cease to exist ? Jesus, you go on about intelligent contributions, then make the moronic association that because I feel administration may offer the chance for a change in our fortunes long-term, that it means I want the club to go out of business. Idiot.
