  1. Who gives a shiiit ? I couldnt give a crap about which wannabee Fred Goodwins are out of pocket. I care about the existence of SFC and the points deduction.
  2. Indeed, but bizarrely I am the focus of the argument again.
  3. A mile of difference - I am limited in terms of what I can do due to geography, FC chooses to pontificate on balance rather than do anything.
  4. Superb post, and you have FC down to a tee. He's more interested in keeping that nice protuberant fence post up his backside than coming forward and fighting for anything..
  5. Yeah, spending 7million is such a *****.... There are a million reasons why we havent achieved the same position since Burley left, the foremost of which is that every manager since has had to cut costs on players and wages, due to the fact that gormless Scottish twaaat piiissed the family silver up against the wall. I'd like to hear your convincing argument as to why scraping into the playoffs after PNE choked it is accpetable considering we had the best and most expensive team in the league
  6. I go at every opportunity that presents itself. You know damn well I live abroad. David Jones is a paid official of the club. Its a bit different, and you bloody well know it. Take your trolling elsewhere
  7. We really have a mountain to climb. Even if we can win 3 games in a row, either the Sky curse or Dr. Moreau at the Football League will get us...:-(
  8. Deary me. Cliches, jingoism and abuse. Really off form at the moment, arent you Johnny ?
  9. Since when has David Jones ever bothered himself with the minor detail that we are a football club ? Does he even go to any matches ? I'd like to know why he didnt quit with Lowe; his culpability for our predicament stands out like a sore thumb.
  10. You must have missed the first 2/3 of my post, followed in the last paragraph with the use of the word "some" then.... Your comment about requirements for therapy was obviously auto-biographical....
  11. I was having this discussion with my wife a few days ago, when we decided to come back for a visit for a couple of weeks in the summer. Southampton is a wonderful city; it is near the New Forest, has wonderful parks and is near some stunning countryside in N. Hampshire. Also, for me (though my wife does not agree), I love looking across Itchen from Weston Shore or Victoria Country Park or Lepe beach towards the Isle of Wight, toward the forest, even the bloody oil refinery (especially at night). The river and coastal views are the bits of Southampton I miss the most. Of course, I also miss the heart-lift and excitement that comes when I go over the Itchen Bridge and spot SMS for the first time on match-day, even if I am not going myself... The problem with Southampton is that its populated with Southamptoners, some of which are the most miserable, negative, aggressive, scummy toss-pots it has even been my misfortune to encounter, and thats saying something considering I studied in Manchester..
  12. Do shut up with your obsessive stalking. Lowe never went away - part of the problem why the Wilde-led years were unsuccessful because potential investers were spooked by Lowe still being in the background with his cronies, ready to make a comeback. And so it has proven.... You are part of the historical revisionist brigade on here that insist the Wilde years were worse than the last year under Lowe. Utter bolllllocks. Lowe never got us anywhere near promotion, and got us relegated (twice now...) to boot. If we had had a decent, consisten manager with no personal issues unde Wilde, we would have been promoted with the squad we had, and all this *****ing would be "moot" Sadly, we had George Burley, who even now is ballsing up his latest part-time job. As I have said countless times, no hope has been replace with some hope - a complete change in direction and a clean sweep of the culture of ego-driven failure is now on the cards, and I am utterly convinced this is the right way forward. So, you see, your carefully-chosen digs have had no impact at all.
  13. Isnt that illegal ? I thought there were NDAs in place ? In the end, its going to leave the administrator with no f**king bids as he ****es everyone off.
  14. I hope you and Denzil dont expect sympathy from fans of other teams then, should the worst case happen to us.....
  15. Yes, because those with the agenda who were trying to scare everybody about the prospect of administration were going on about asset-stripping, no-one interested in the club as a going concern and the end of the club, and were highly abusive to those that disagreed. At this time NONE of those things have happened, and there is apparently plenty of interest in the club.
  16. Nope, I called for it and am not ashamed of the fact. But I called for it to happen BEFORE the cut-off date, so that the club would have time to get its house in order once completely Lowe-less, BEFORE next season
  17. Indeed. I read the title of this thread and realised it was another twaaaaty comment he was making..........
  18. There is a thread floating around here, at this time, that states Lowe & Cowen took 500K from the club, and Hone and co. took 600K out of the club.
  19. Utter bolllocks. Lowe has gone on record the last few weeks saying he loves the club and will "help out" if he can. Well, getting his name amongst the "£1000+ Club" would be a small start and a symbol, but lo-and-behold, the money flow between him and SFC is a one-way street, as we've always known, and "help" in Lowe's eyes is "control and dominate" in anyone elses... Interesting to note that the £500,000 being described as what is necessary to keep the club going to the end of the season is about the same as I've read from a few sources that Lowe and Cowen took away in severance payments first time around.... As for your "small minded" comment, can I remind you of your foot-stamping a few years back when the whole Wilde/EGM thing came along and threatened the privilledged ear that some of the regional fans clubs used to enjoy when Roopie held court ?
  20. Will we be feeling like their fans in a couple of weeks' time ? I understand the philosophy behind the points deduction rules, but its too much. Mawhinney and the Football League basically killed LTFC that 30-point deudction. Will they be signing our death-warrant ? I personally find it a disgrace that they bottled acting on their own clearly-defined rules last week, to enable us to get on with finding a buyer to enable the club to survive.
  21. A badly needed result, but there still a mountain to climb - on and off the pitch.
  22. Christ, what a pathetic outbreak of pedantry there is on here this afternoon.........
  23. Aye. Its a pride thing. In that case it will take a dubious interpretation of the rules to send us down. However, if you look at the way we have propped the table up since Xmas, it wouldnt be justice..
  24. And Forest won on Saturday whilst we lost.
  25. This is the problem. The other teams in the relegation battle are just matching our results. Both Norwich and Forest will be pleased with their day's work..
