  1. Only talking from experience - I quite often buy rugby tops from Cotton Traders on-line, they alwas have offers on. I order two or three things as the offer describes, they re-calculate the price before checkout. Its also what you do at a supermarket - bring stuff to checkout, price is recalculated.
  2. Hard to imagine there isnt a buyer out there.. Of course, in Roopey's little mind it is probably still 65p, with three years' inflation-adjustment..
  3. Hmmm. you might have needed to put quantity as TWO, and the price would have been recalculated. Sorry, she's got a point, I think. There was no need for her to be rude, of course.
  4. If you feel that, why were you not calling for Administration before yesterdays deadline ? Here's a though for everyone : if we do manage to stay up, we might STILL go into administration. As far as I am concerned, Lowe and Wilde have simply underlined what selfish bastards they are with this decision.
  5. Best joke I've read on here in ages. Nice one !
  6. If this true, it would have been trumpeted from the top of the Civic Centre clock tower. Why on earth would Lowe pass up on this PR coup. It's bollllocks. must be.
  7. I bet Lowe wishes he'd accepted Crouch's 65p offer now...
  8. Shhh! dont tell him that, it blows away his completely paper-thin argument.... Its not suprising a luvvie is more scared of the future following administration than carrying on under Lowe. In my opinion, we are a dead man walking under Lowe - we will go under somewhen. Whereas following administration there is a chance of a future.... Its as simple as that. Some of you need to go and stamp your feet if cannot accept that some of us feel this way.
  9. Because if it does not happen today, and we get relegated, it will happen anyway but then it will screw up next season as well. Then we have a good chance of ending up in the FOURTH DIVISION I am really beginning to wonder about the intelligence of some on this site...
  10. Whatever, I will "moan" about what I want to, and you carry on moaning about my "moaning" and showing a complete lack of respect for others opinion. I have tried several times to explain my position, and you just sneer at it. Reflects worse on you than me, to be honest...
  11. hehehehe
  12. Nope, still dont see the point. Lowe and Wilde will not go into Adminstration earlier in the hope of protecting the club and its history. They will wait for the bank to force it. Ergo, the club and its history are irrelevant to them. What part of this do you lot not get, FFS ?
  13. So what ? It doesnt mean that its relevant.
  14. You obviously missed this bit then : "In any case, they would not make a decision based on a deadline imposed by the football authorities as it would be their bank or other creditors who would force the issue. "
  15. Read my words. I reacted to the piece. Nothing more. Apart from the fact there are 1001 reasons to call Lowe a stubborn egotistical oaf without even considering this report... However, the report fits with the public perception of him. That public perception is his fault. Your dismissal of the report and my reaction to it as "conjecture" rings somewhat hollow, imo.
  16. What about the damage to his reputation which, I believe, will eclipse all other factors ???
  17. Rupert Lowe really is a stubborn egotistical oaf. I was infuriated by the bit in the Echo article which indicated we would only go into admin if forced to by our creditors, and that protecting the club and its history is utterly irrelevant to Lowe and Wilde. And we are supposed to get behind the team whilst they run the show...pathetic.
  18. And are you going to tell me, being the Saints fan that you are, that it means f**k-all to you ?? If any Tom, D.ick or Harry (or any other Skate for that matter) can do it, does that not devalue the experience ??
  19. How is that accusation any different than always assuming the worst in what I post, like you have ? It shatters the mystique that playing at the home of SFC engenders to Saints fans It will bring in f**k-all money, and certainly wont turn around our fortunes. Accept the fact I dont agree with you and move on..
  20. Did your last tour leave you with air bubbles in the brain, or something ???
  21. Oh, grow up. That was the attitude of the club and groundsmen up until this decision, FFS.
  22. Erm, because we are not completely convinced it is good ??
  23. Why the aggression about this ? why must everybody agree with it ? Btw, the amount of money it will bring is MINIMAL.
  24. I accept being in the minority on this without rancour, and on a logic level I understand the counter-arguments. But I am a life-long Saints fan. To me this is something totally special. If someone offered me a chance to participate in such a kick around, I simply couldn't. For me, it is the Mecca of football. The only way I could countenance walking out to that centre spot is if I really were a Saints player. And I am afraid my legs are too far gone for that.
