  1. Oh, what illustrious company we are in........
  2. Agree with a lot of this. We would be dirt cheap at the moment, and if we can get back on our feet, someone could stand to make a pretty sum on us.
  3. Sorry, there are lines to be drawn. Stepping out onto the pitch at SMS or the Dell before has the feeling of stepping out on to Wembley or Lords for me, you just dont do it unless you are one of the chosen few. Now this little bit of mystique also has its price, where any old f**king chav (including ones from down the other end of the M27) can walk out there..
  4. Not sure I find the whole thing amusing. Seems like everything has a price and everything is available to pimp out.
  5. If this is true, this is big (but bad) news. The FA and football league take a dim view of this, and I personally would not like to see the oldest club in England go under due to our financial ineptitude..
  6. If they cough up 4 grand. It was only a couple of years ago when the tour guides would tell you not to step on a single blade of grass less an irate groundsman turned up. We must really be in the deep doo-doo...
  7. Have these FUKKERS played ONE game between them yet ?
  8. Nothing to do with bad luck, and everything to do with inept management.
  9. In as far as you've gone. A lot of people reckon Lowe can then buy the club outright at a rock-bottom price.
  10. This may explain why we havent moved in the loans market recently. Maybe there is an embargo on us..
  11. Wasnt that JP ? Agree with the rest of your post though.
  12. I agree that Wotte might as well stay on next season if we go down. After all, we will be going into administration so it doesnt matter if Sir Alex Ferguson were managing us.... If we stay up, I am not so certain Wotte should remain. After all, Lowe decided Peason wasnt value for money despite rescuing us..
  13. No arguments from me there. Some of the most annoying posters on this site are the "we were bound to get relegated from the Premiership some time or another - who says we have a right to promotion", "it was a point gained" and "I am happy with the performance, even though we lost and are on the precipice facing the abyss" brigades. What a bunch of wishy-washy pooftahs. Mentioning no names, of course........
  14. F**k this "not better than we have" bullshiiit. Has this supposedly experienced manager never heard of INJURIES ???
  15. Indeed. Have we won a single 6-pointer so far this season ?
  16. Not a chance. I predict another sham offer of resignation.
  17. Agree. The board of SFC showed a shocking level of ambition after the FA Cup final and 8th-placed finish. They decided to do nothing through a combination of not wanting to leave their comfort zone and not wanting their power-base diluted by inward investment. The club is paying a heavy price for that summer of lunacy..
  18. They are going to kick our f**king arses...
  19. I think we know where the blame for that lies, but this is going over very old ground again...
  20. I dont buy this "blaming SMS" crap. Everything was in place in the summer of 2003 to finally move up to the next level. Then Rupert Lowe sold Wayne Bridge.
  21. I agree that JP cannot be blamed alone for all this. Lowe and Wotte himself must take their share of the blame.
  22. The mistake was appointing him in the first place. But to answer your specific question, even if Wotte had been in place earlier, the damage was done, and the morale and motivation of the squad wrecked by too much emphasis on youth. So I dont think it would have made much difference. The decision to loan out Saga, Rasiak and John at the same time whilst ignoring the defence until too late will haunt this club for years to come...
