Look at the subs bench last night. On the almost-certain assumpton that the end of the world would need to be nigh for Skacel to get an actual game, do you not agree that we are actually beginning to scrape the bottom of what was a very shallow barrel ?

Yes, there is a long way to go. We've beaten three teams deeply entrenched in the bottom half of the table like us, our injury list is getting longer, and the attendance figures probably mean that the likes of Lallana and Davis will be gone in January. It would be nice to enjoy a rare winning streak without a petty piissing contest from certain elements on here. They make it much more personal than the "moaners and whingers" responding to news of a defeat.

Actually, dont agree on this one. I quite like the idea of dangling a carrot in front of his nose and seeing if he can get his hunger back and bite. I reckon the experience of being on the bench could prove quite motivating for him. However, this is quite easy to say with hindsight following a 2-0 victory; if we'd been losing 2-0 I would have been screaming for him to be put on.
