McGoldrick is a tw*t, but he's Lowe's golden boy (he's cheap). He will play all season, whatever his form. I suppose Surman scoring a consolation, after Coventry have taken their foot off the gas, papers over enough cracks to allow the Luvvies to claim we are going in the right direction...

George Burley in disguise.
-
I see Skacel has sunk without trace again.
-
Wow, another post-win highly-motivated and inspired performance from Saints. Quelle Surprise..
-
Yep. Lowe has no-one but himself to blame for accusations (false or not) being made. The club was quick enough to clarifiy the Andrew Davies situation when it suited them.
-
Thomas not better than James ? Rubbish. People in glass houses...
-
Just remind me who wrote this : "Most of your complaints are biased and biggoted against the club as you do not accept the direction in which it is moving although you do not seem to have a viable alternative." You expect me to be reasonable and polite after you call me a bigot for expressing my opinion ?
-
This is a hillarious example of "making-it-you-as-you-go-along" Why cant Skacel and Thomas cover injuries ? Does their value not improve if they are out on the pitch playing, proving what they've got, rather than sulking at home, in the stand or in the changing room ? You said no-one who is not going to be here next year should be playing. You said it. If that were the case, we wouldnt be able to put a team out. Please at least try to be consistent in your excuses for being a Luvvie...

Suggest you get your glasses prescription updated.... I wrote 3 OR 4, referring to your scale of 10.

Killer should be on the bench. I am not all all in favour of disrupting a settling defence. -

Score draw. -
I rate the "plan" as 3 or 4. You may be feeling smug or vindicated off the back of beating two fellow relegation contenders, but there are a lot of games against top 10 teams to come, and this squad is threadbare due to injury. Saying we dont need the likes of Rasiak, Saga, Skacel and Thomas rather than expecting the manager to man-manage and get performance out of those unquestionably capable players is short-sighted and arrogant. And, once more, seeing as you ignored it. By your own standards JP should not be playing Davis or Lallana, because they wont be here next season...
-
So you reckon JP should drop Lallana, Davis and Schneiderlin then ? Also, why play Peckhart, Cork or Smith then ?
-
Because he is deciding who can and cannot play, and who stays and who goes, based on wages and transfer value. Would have thought that was stating the bleedin obvious...
-
Yep, let's talk them all into transfers to North London..........
-
Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees....... Who gives a flying f**k about this OS report ? I hadnt even read it. I am talking about the circumstantial evidence that Thomas is fit, and the more-than-circumstantial evidence (because he's sitting on the bench) that Skacel is fit, but despite a huge injury list, they are not being played. Have you forgotten that Thomas can play RB ? Seriously, your brown nosing of Lowe is ridiculous.
-
I simply dont get why Lowe can be straight about Thomas and Skacel. There is enough circumstantial evidence floating around - it seems that his arrogance and tendency to insult our intelligence dies hard...

Why do you persist in wasting your posts on trying to tell others how to think ?

Kelvin Davis- are saints fans the most fickle in the league?
alpine_saint replied to shurlock's topic in The Saints
Has Webster bogged off or something ? Or is it simply that he is focussed now on what he's supposed to be doing, GK coaching, rather than being forced to compensate for Burley's shortcomings ? -
IF we can shake off a few of our injuries, and dont go on a selling spree in January, I'll stick by my pre-season prediction of mid-table, though a bit of luck may see us scraping the edge of the promotion battle. I still think that is more likely if Skacel is brought back into the fold. If Lowe succumbs to more short-termist bollllox from Barclays, and the likes of Thomas and Euell decide to stretch out their visits to the treatment table, we are in big trouble...
-
Comparing this board and the perfectly NORMAL mood swings of football fans to their condition triviallises their suffering. For heavens sake, when a team goes 3-0 up and then lose 4-3, as we have done at least 2 occasions that I can remember after applying 10nanoseconds of recollective thought, we go through a ridiculous swing of emotion during one game !

Agree it is endemic and comes with the territory of being a GK. Pompey fans probably think David James is a hero or a nobber on alternate weeks. -
That Rupert Lowe is a prize toffee-nosed front-bottom...

There is a world of difference between the normal emotional roller-coaster ride of supporters of an inept football club, and a serious psychological condition which has at worst manifested itself in brutal mass-murder. Come on guys, a bit of perspective, please....

Really ? How is being frustrated, angry and pessimistic being antagonistic to fellow posters ? This thread was deliberately set out to provoke and antagonise individuals. There's a world of difference, and you know it.
