Just a thought; could the flag be made "portrait" and have it like this one for Benitez? Then you could fit the text above or below the image, making it a bit of a better composition.

Definitely this one. However, I'd personally change the font to solid block form, and maybe just have LIEBHERR written instead. But the simpler the better. We shouldn't complicate it with too much text/imagery.
