Oh I see, yes you may be right... But what with the impending rate increases surely the price increases will slow down and possibly reverse? What would you do? We're in a position where we could sell up our house weve owned for 8 years and make 50k. After fees and paying off debts we would be left with around 18-20k in the bank. We couldn't get another mortgage due to finances and work situation currently, but could rent for similar to what we pay mortgage now (plus some debt money).... So be financially better off.... But renting. I Cant decide whether this is a good idea or plain stupid?
