Could all these arguments not be levelled at Lowe?? The difference is, imo, is that Crouch saw it was not working and acted. F***ing hell, we're 24 games into the season with 1 home win, we're 1 point above the drop zone yet Lowe can't see a problem, our manager spouts "we hit the post, could of been different" we hit the post but the flag was up for offside blah blah blah! Look mate if your happy then cool, i'm not, freedoom of speech & choice.

If the customer takes away it's custom then the board/bank has to listen, with no customers there is no business!!!!! Rupert lowe is not the only choice, Leon Crouch had an agreement with the banks & bond holders, he and they agreed a route forward, the only difference being Crouch's route involved keeping Pearson on which imo would of lead to better results, better gates better finances! Not saying Crouch is the answer, just pointing out that there were & are other options to the route we're following!

I thought the reason there was no boycott was because the board saw that Dodd & Gorman were taking us down and acted, they sacked the pair and put Pearson in place. That positive action saved our club from relegation! You can cheer the kids on as much as you like, that my friend is choice, I on the other hand can't just sit by and watch our ONCE great club fade away! Life is all about choice, i don't think you or anyone else is a better or lesser fan for thier choices!

I do agree with you and um-bongo with regards to keeping eveything on one thread, the only problem is, who would read every page and every post on said thread?? The reason for me posting this thread is purely to suggest a boycott date.

I do like the idea of everyone agreeing to leave the stadium on the 77 min of the man utd game but i see 2 potential problems with this - 1. 77 min saints leading 2-1 (dream on) are you still going to get the same numbers leave? 2. 77 min utd leading 0-3, Lowe would put any walkout down to the result! Boycott an entire game, he has no excuses!!!

Exactly, I rememberus being in various cup runs, semi's, quarters etc. Also remember us having a proper youth system, Wallace's, Le.tiss, Shearer, kenna, dodd, flowers?, bit different than our youth now!!!

I know what your saying, i just think if we stated that for this game (Shef Utd) we are boycotting and the attendance dropped below 10k everyone would have to listen!!!

I fully support the idea of a boycott, this is not an easy or cheap option for me as I have 2 season tickets, but we must act before our great club is dead! I'd call for us to boycott the Sheffield Utd game on 03-02-2009, the thinking behind this is A. Gives everyone enough time to decide if they want to buy a ticket or take part in said boycott. B. Gives us all enough time to advertise the boycott in local media and other sites for maximum exposure. C. Gives us enough time to draft a letter to Lowe, Wilde and Barclays outlining our proest. Something needs to be done, and soon. I'm not saying this HAS to be the way, I'm open to suggestions just saying something needs to be done, and SOON!!

You mean just like the last "Forest, the most important game of the season" where 27k fans turned up yet the team forgot to turn up? With this team, management and board its now obvious that it makes no difference if 27 or 27,000 fans turn up the result is the same! Boycott a game, get the date published on here, in the Echo, TUI, even do a leaflet drop, give fans 5 weeks notice ie. boycott shef utd, 03-02-2009, that way people can make a choice and not buy a ticket and make their proptest!

I think it was just bad timing and luck on Chris's part, I think if it had gone Lawrie, Branfoot then Nichol as opposed to Nichol then Branfoot Chris would have been here for a long time!

The only problem with this action is - We choose to do it against Cardiff, Cardiff sail into a 0-3 half time lead, we all walk out and Lowe's pr spin say the walk out was no protest just a reflection of the score!!!! Boycott an entire game, Lowe is hurting this club much, much more than any boycott could, don't forget there is 9k (i've got 2) season ticket holders, so the club already has that money, the away fans are the same, so probably only 3-5k not payining, minimal expence to the club! Lowe Out! Note :- we need a fighting fund, i'd be more than happy to start work again with John and Jake (STHU) where people could send donations, if we had donations we could get banners, posters, leaflets etc made to advertise any up and coming protests/events! It would of taken some of the pressure of McG and would of probably helped to develope him as player, striker, goal scorer! We re-signed Dyer on Lowe's wage structure then loaned him out signing a div 2 (Smith) as his replacement!! Help me out here please because I can't see anything good here, people keep saying " we're playing the best football seen here for years" where, because i've been to every home game and i'm not leaving entertained!!
