Last time Newcastle made it to a league Cup final was 1976 at least...

No defending Jones for this one. All on him.

Bree's superb technical crossing ability on show there...

Taken off our pacey powerful cb chasing a game vs issac and asm...

The ref had been pretty decent tbh...

Great play bazunu!

Diallo is shockingly bad at this level.

Also, we had to score in that 15min period. Can't see it now sadly. Game was thrown by the manager - awful line up and waits until we're 3-0 down in a 2 legged cup semi final to take it seriously. Unforgiveable

If we're going to go out, I can't be the only one who wants our entire backline to leave studs on Murphy until he has to go off... With our players waving at him?

That is never a free kick against salisu...

He's are starting right back vs brentford now 😍

In fairness, haven't we changed to a 4 at the back with salisu LB? And he'll be starting vs brentford now.

Said by someone abusing another fan on an online forum🙄 Che Adams lol

Keep. This up for another 60min and they won't want to sign...

With all due respect, just for this cup semi final team he can fk right off. Ralph laboured for years to somehow keep us up and competitive, gets booted, and there is no way he deserves the money he's had this window just to put out this utter dogshit in a cup semi final. Basically threw a cup semi final game before kick off. 3-0 down in a two legged cup semi final before he brings on the first teamers. Joke.

Jones will never live this one down. Has zero credit in the bank to start with. Utterly unforgiveable.

Utterly appalling.

Jones' press is pathetic compared to Ralph's as well. So easy to play around it because we're too deep. Huge gap between attack and defence.

Newcastle will get another 4goals here if we keep playing like this.

Bednarek made a good block there. Not sure where bree was, and lyanco...

It's quite clear that the players do not who to mark, who to track, where to pass etc.

Jones has to change this. Formation is horrific.

Pathetic line up tactically. Bednarek not match fit marking space, no one tasked with tracking the runner.

Yeah. Had a mare there 😁

Salisu... Ah no wait, I am blind, he's there... 😅
