You obviously haven't been reading the thread well enough, sunshine.
-
Something you have in common, Neil.
-
I always thought David Conn knew his stuff, but what's this bullcrap? We all know that the PST are blazing a trail and doing something that nobody has ever done before, right?
-
Absolutely spot on, So good it's worth quoting in full.
-
Portpin's charge isn't just over the ground, don't forget. It's a charge over everything.
-
Thanks to Steve for reminding me of this: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-owners-london-hq-1-3113422 I especially like the last line and wonder how those plans for the new Convers offices are coming along?
-
And you know this because you have intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the organisation, yes?
-
It's the best return for Chinny if he can't buy the club. He gets the next PP and the proceeds from flogging FP to the same property developers who are trying to buy it now. It's very much in his interests to be as obstructive as possible.
-
Let's not let this get lost amongst the rest of the hilarity. Neil, you're a knob.
-
We can expect to see Portpin announced as new owners very soon then.
-
I don't think that both ends of the M27 have ever been so united as they are now in welcoming this bit of news. The PCC can't give the loan while there are other bids on the table - both Portpin and (apparently) Portco are still in the running. The PST are dependent on pledges for working capital. There's only 4 months to the next PP and Chinny's best chance of walking away with cash. Chinny is annoyed now. Chinny is also almost certainly working on his strategy for winning the Fatpipe Park land valuation court case. Even if the PST are somehow successful, it's going to be mostly financed by property developers.

Why not combine a couple of the ideas from the this thread, sell it to Joseph Cala, and let him sink it in Portsmouth harbour as his first underwater hotel?
-
They tried, yes. They also failed. That's a pretty rubbish "running the show", you daft cow.
-
Aaaaannnd.... IF PKF really have turned back to the PST it may well suggest that none of the other bids are viable - it certainly suggests that none are close to completing a deal as it stands - which places Trevor and Unappy in a "tricky" spot. Whilst I'm sure the PST would like their team to be competitive (ie, cheat their way to wins) on the pitch, they also need that money that Trev is currently spunking away on players they clearly can't afford in order to run the club should they actually be successful. Could they find themselves in a position where the PST are actually asking Trev to cut those players loose, and thus increase their chances of playing in L2 next season, in order to make their own numbers add up?
-
It's only around 120 days until the next PP hits the accounts of PFC2010 Ltd(In Administration). Trev may burn the best part of a million quid to get there but it's probably the best time to hit that big red button.

A bid from Pirtpon, run by Mr Chianria, is in the pipeline.
-
If it's Portpin that are dragging their feet, buying time until the Miland liquidation is sorted and the land ownership is clarified it means that the PST bid has already been rejected by PKF.... Haven't the Trust been very quiet lately? I've not heard them tell everyone how "credible" their bid is for a while, nor make any pleas for further pledges.
-
After all his apparent pleadings to the out of contract players to trust in him, his assuarances that he'd be able to get them deal and his boasts that these players are only there because of the promises he, Michael Appleton, made them it would be pretty rude to jump ship at the first chance. What a ****.

Ask Avram.
-
It must be something in the water. Maybe it's the fat?
-
Hmmmmm, possibly. Just not sure that that person would know such details of the back Storrie of the pre-Pompey shenanigans, flights between Tel Aviv and Moscow etc...

I suspect that someone (who was very closely involved up to around March 2010 and who comes out of all of Hall's pieces better than anyone. Someone with a tarnished reputation that they would like to restore. Someone who has been wronged by Chinny and might be out for a little revenge by derailing his attempt to takeover again by putting info out there that might cause him to fail the FPPT. Cream Crackers, anybody?) dumped a lot of info onto Hall et al and it's taken them a while to plough through and piece it all together.

Jacob comes out of this better than anyone, IMO. Our hero! When did Jacob cease to have any involvement in Pompey?
