I also wouldn't be surprised to see some legal action launched in Israel against the manufacturers of the shredding machines installed in the Fratton Park offices in 2009 either. They were clearly not fit for purpose.

In his first article he totally brushed over how Falcondrone actually came to own Pompey. The narrative goes from Sacha discovering who was behind Portpin and thus refusing to deal with them to Portpin dealing with the new owners, Falcondrone. As other have said above though, it's all a bit more than a nice little history lesson. Assuming that Hall does have the evidence to prove all this and is trying to use it to show the FL that Portpin were shadow directors and therefore should fail the FPPT, that evidence will also be more than enough for the FL to kick them so hard they'll be lucky to wake up in League 2.

Who would have thought that Jon Harley, most recently seen failing win a contract with A-League club Melbourne Victory before being loaned from Notts County to Rotherham, would be gash?
-
He definitely is not
-
Why wouldn't he? They were the only game in town and would already be in charge if the FL hadn't forced them to go away and hatch another little plan by restricting the amount of secured debt they could carry over. He hasn't been stitched up either - he's still taking £9k from PFC, each and every day. I imagine he's actually rather pleased with his work so far.
-
Woooah, settle petal.
-
And that's the nub. I imagine he was happy to cheer on Campbell, Johnson, Defoe etc and the hell with the consequences...

At some point surely the integrity of the game and the competition has to come into play Quote of the century.

We'd need to sign a 40 yrd old Nigerian too. Where's Yakubu these days?
-
It's from the same source that made out there was a massive group of Skates outside the training ground handing pleading letters to Kitson & Co a few months back, until TV showed it was actually just 6 (six). Oh, and gave extensive coverage to the huge SOS Pompey "march", which actually consisted of 20-30 bored, spotty oiks who happened to be hanging around FP at the time, probably looking for car stereos to nick.

Can we keep some focus here please and not be blown off course by PES wittering on about SFC? We've got a whole board dedicated to Saints stuff - can we not keep this thread for laughing at the hilarity that is that lot down the road?

Well let's hope that Portpin and PST have budgeted for the ransom demands from Mr Pritchard then. Or even better, let's Pritchard and his investors in this "development opportunity" are successful in their bid. No reason for alarms bells to ring at all. Assuming, of course, Pritchard isn't just doing this on behalf of his friend, Mr Chinnery.
-
So he's claiming to have bought some of the surrounding land from Miland? Hmmmm. Not sure how that gives him any advantage as far as PKF or the FL are concerned. Might annoy the Chinnymeister and the PST though.
-
That last bit is a reference to his pieces in the News over the last couple of years, right? As for people trying to discredit him, he's managed to do that quite nicely to himself.
-
OK nutjobs, how about a little sweepstake on either the date that PKF finally make a formal announcement on which bid (if any) has been successful or on the date that Birchy comes out of hiding and gives us all an update on his golf handicap, sorry, I mean progress towards a successful sale. Progress Update: 10th October Successful bid (or liquidation!): 7th December
-
Well Birch, not PKF, was appointed joint administrator by the court. He remains joint administrator. Not sure that PKF can do a whole lot about that...
-
Crikey - even Jimmy Saville didn't stoop that low.

Coining £9,000 every day.

I hadn't been over to POL for a wee while but have checked my account in the last few days and it's still active. Hi Fratts
-
I haven't yet. Apologies to all.
-
And yet the council's refusal to loan the Trust any money ifI there are any other bids on the table was the first torpedo to hit sinking ship. You made the right decision Vernon, and but you can't have it both ways.
-
Sooooo, Portpin given preferred bidder status by PKF and the legalities of finalising the deal commence, all of which takes time. Time charged at £9000 per day. All progresses nicely until the final hurdle, the FPPT. For the first time in history, someone actually fails it. Much outcry from Chinny and PKF, but to no avail. PKF are 'forced' to begin the search for a new buyer again. At £9000 per day.
