  1. Keep in mind that they haven't actually signed anyone yet and that any future signings will apparently be subject to strict Football League approval. Of course, we have heard that before, but maybe this time they mean it...
  2. On the flip side, it does make me smile to see them giving a trial to someone we decided wasn't good enough for us in League One I wonder if anyone else released at the same time might turn up down there? That list of legends reads: • Lloyd James • Simon Gillett • Oliver Lancashire • Chris Perry • Wayne Thomas • Graeme Murty • Jamie White • Michael Poke • Jon Otsemobor • Jake Thomson • Kayne McLaggon • Tom Dunford • Jack Boyle
  3. If it wasn't them I wouldn't beleive that any club could do this again
  4. They'll be the last for quite some time I expect.
  5. The **** slating the kids that he'd picked in public afterwards was the first bit. Shameful.
  6. Agreed. I think that once Marcus completed his takeover things were on the way up and despite the slow turnaround and few blips along the way we all had hope that we'd bottomed-out and things were only going to get better. It was the period before that (the failure to bounce straight back under Red****p, the play-off defeat, narrowly avoiding relegation and then finally being relegated) that included all our darkest moments. Being beaten by Luton at Kenilworth Rd in 05 was a rude shock, the total upheaval of the Watford (a) Boxing Day game, being totally outplayed by Colchester at Layer Rd in 06 was horrible and put me back on the ciggies again, losing the P/O semi knowing that we needed to go up or face financial strife and real football struggle (the confirmation of that in the 4-1 ****ting by Palace on the opening day of the following season was depressing) and then the relegation season which, helpfully, I don't remember anything of - I think that's a sub-conscious coping mechanism kicking in...
  7. Yes Mark, you'll definitely get your money back.
  8. Dinner and a movie with you Sue, probably.
  9. Clothes Off You Fit Lesbians.
  10.
  11. Sounds like he's arguing for the FL league to have taken action and stopped CSi taking over, at which point there would have been howls of rage from him that they were intent on killing the club. The bloke is a nobber, I'm afraid.
  12. Someone else who questions the numpty gets blocked...
  13. It is indeed, and a nuance that I'd missed.
  14. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/kanu-remains-in-nigeria-as-absence-rumbles-on-1-4040705 Oh please, do it. I don't think you'll be getting much assistance....
  15. My guess is that the comment by "Neil" isn't going to pass moderation.
  16. Apparently not. The really aren't enough on the internet for that lot.
  17. Why on earth was Kanu carrying the Olympic flame through Coventry?
  18. http://www.skysports.com/football/player/0,,11770_253142,00.html Old Izale's rating last season? 5.0. In League Two. He truly would be their saviour next seaon.
  19. He's made a total of 9 first team appearances for Rangers after being promoted to the 1st team squad after the first bunch of first teamers jumped ship shortly after they went into admin. I bet he's brilliant. Meanwhile, we've just picked up the Rangers skipper. WTFILN?
  20. So this is the calibre of player that UnAppy has been talking to, pleading with them to keep waiting for everything to be resolved and who have been reported as desperate to join. All I can say is:
  21. Any jobs going in service delivery/management?
  22. Recently released by Notts County after being on loan at League Two's Rotherham.
  23. Why not? They both younger than Kanu.
  24. If there's just one thing that is certain in all this mess, it's this. Well said, trousers.
