I'm not using the fee we paid for him as a stick to beat him with as that was Cortese's poor decision, he also came here for the money as he stated he could not turn it down so that was never going to be a positive sign. He has never been prepared to put his foot in, care or even look bothered, now if you are going to be that sort of player and there are many like that around you have to compensate for this slackness by being ****ing awesome for the standard of League/team you play in, he quite simply has not been at that standard.
