I agree with most of what you said there bar the relegation struggler, the early 90's we were gash but also through rose tinted glasses (still terracing, cheaper prices, 3 o'clock kick offs etc etc) it was far better than now.

No I simply know our standing in English football, the only way we could get players over larger clubs is to offer more money, the player will probably not want to be here ie Ramirez, Osvaldo.
