The bit I don't understand is why isn't a deal being put in place to come to an agreement with all the creditors excluding Aviva. Then re-negotiate a mortgage term with them. This would reduce the money up front by approx £8m and make it more feasable for buyers who would be unwilling to part with £14m in one go.

This is a chicken and egg situation. We could go on and on, who and why, but its in the past now. Question is how many fans will we get next year and what league will we be in ?

Where do we go from here ? Even the most optimistic, half glass full posters, seem to been resigned to the likelyhood of our demise to the abyss. But where does it end and then begin again ? Will we end up in the Blue Square league or even worse ? Where will our games be played ? What kind of a following will we get ? Such dark days just seem to keep getting darker & darker. Surely the Sun will have to rise again soon. One things for sure, I will still support this team no matter what and will expect to see the phoenix rise again.

Like I said a customer came in and I was trying to listen to two conversations. Radio Solent news at 11 said something like a deal has failed to be agreed ? Surely someone else heard it better than I did, hope I got it wrong, but don't think I did.

Said something along the lines that Lynam is hopeful that things can still be sorted.

Despite the p1ss take Dalek gets, I would also like to see Hoddle. Other choice but highly unlikely would be Shearer. Although he hasn't made an imediate impact at Newcastle, I do like the tough stance he has set out. Problem with that is the ego's of premiership players getting in the way. At our level, I think it would work a lot better, especially with the younger players who will look up to him more.

The Stockport situation exposes the loopholes in the Football Leagues rule book, which could work in our favour as an example for us to use. At least we still had a chance of staying up when we went into admin, so hardly trying to expoit an advantage. But the argument is that the football club didn't go into admin so shouldn't be punished. Anyway, lets just get a chance of playing next year before we cross that bridge.
