Wish I could aswell. But the thought of sitting my Pinnacle ball on the tee and taking my anger out on it seems quite appealing at the moment. FOURRRRRRRRRRR........OOps, sorry Tony didn't see you there.

I dont think it will happen today but still cant help myself viewing this time consuming forum whilst being bored to death listening to Radio Solent. I will play golf this afternoon to take my mind off it. If I see TL I will pass on any messages.

If it was that close to completion I'm sure Mark Fry would have worded it differently to rapidly. Nothing will happen today imho.

If that was the case then why have Pinnacle not said this is their concern. If they feared the rules weren't cast iron enough for them being penalised with a further point deduction then I' sure they would have told us this. They didn't hold back telling us that the FL wanted us to sign a waiver, so why go quite now if this really is the reason ?

When asked what the reasons for them withdrawing Matt Le Tissier and Tony Lynham would not say why, other than other issues. When asked what those issues were Matt said he can't discuss that. Why ?

Duncan put a post up that got removed, it had the four names that were the Pinnacles original consortium I beleive. That is what the administrators were basing their proof of funding on. That then changed and we got presented with Fialka. Pinnacle may have stated they are back in the running, but they have stated a lot of things that have been false. But you prefer to take the word of someone who has hoodwinked us on more than one occasion, rather than beleive what the Football League have said publicly. If Pinnacles only reason for not persuing were fears of extra points deduction, then why did they not say so ?

The one bit I don't understand is how they managed to prove funds to Mark Fry.

Then we are told he is well known to many.:confused: We then get Fialka wheeled out to the cameras, who is not well known by any means. He has been shown to have little likelyhood of having any personal wealth. Tony Lynam then tells us he has others in his group that are wealthy. :confused: They pull out due to FL having clauses that couldn't be ironed out. FL statement appears to **** on Pinnacles take on things. Fialka now states that they (FL)have changed their stance and will look at pursuing their interest. Either the FL have changed what was discussed with Pinnacle, or Pinnacle have run out of places to hide. My guess is that Tony Lynam and Matt Le Tissier have been fooled and no one likes to be made a fool of. So out comes Fialka with a statement of intent to rejoin the race knowing full well someone else is in pole position to win. This gives them the excuse that they were genuine but unfortunately got pipped at the post. Face saved.

Face saving bullsh1te. They know another consortium will get us first, so they can come out and say we would have done the deal but got beat to the finishing line.

We have been conned, but who is behind it ? Who has a score to settle ? Not Lynam, he was the green behind the ears fall guy.

I would love to hear the FL view on this. Something completely different no doubt, like find a proven backer. As for Fry, he has some serious explaining to do.

Solent are suggesting the meeting between Pinnacles lawyers and the administrator is to do with meeting yesterday with the FL,the 10 point deduction is the issue. Tony Lynam sounding like its no longer in his hands. Re-negotiating the price by sounds of it.
