Wrong. Many can breed viable offpring with related species, though many such offspring are themselves sterile. ( Mules, Ligers, etc ). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_(biology)

In which case a significant proportion of the adult population are half-wits, and they had better repurpose the Nightingales as mental wards.

There are more like you ? Oh sh!t.

Some woman interviewed on the news complained about the number of people on the beach this weekend; "We drove an hour and a half to get some peace and quiet now that quarantine is over".

Rishi Sunak, was incapable of understanding a binary choice when participating in an online Parliamentary vote, and voted against the Government by mistake.
-
You should be OK, it's being in close proximity to 5G that causes Coronavirus / Sterility / whatever else David Icke gets told by the Lizard People.

He wants children back at school so that they can all continue to be above average.

And Heaven help us all.

You jumped in to an 'exchange of views' on the effect of Brexit on the UK fishing industry, and included a collective dig at "little EUers". So whilst you may not have added a personal contribution to the debate, your interjection left you open to inclusion in the 'brainwashed Brexiteers' group. The point that was being made is that despite what the jihadists might preach, the UK Government has less control over UK, and particularly English, fishing than might be expected.
-
Not so much as the brainwashed Brexiteers who think that there is going to be a massive revival in an industry that represents just over 0.1% of our economy.

Whilst the quotas for species / areas are set under the CFP, each individual member is responsible for allocating and policing shares in their quota, and fisheries in their waters. The CFP does not dictate or proscribe who has access or how much an individual can catch. Therefore we already, nominally, have this control, but the English proportion has been 'privatised', and taken out of Government control. The fact that most of these 'rights' are granted to foreign vessels by the quota holders is something the UK Government cannot revoke without compensation, and probably involving long and costly legal action.
-
Whilst we may be able to set the size of the quota, unless we can find a way to buy back the ownership/rights we won't have control of who catches and lands the fish in English waters. Luckily, over half of the total UK fishery is under devolved Scottish control, and they didn't follow England's example, instead they retained central control.
-
70% of the fish consumed in the UK is imported, 80% of the fish landed in the UK is exported. A lot of the fish species landed in tbe UK are deemed commercially non-viable in the domestic market. "Taking back control" will make begger all difference.

"Doctors have backed teachers' unions by saying Covid-19 infection rates are too high for England's schools to reopen. The British Medical Association said teachers and heads were "absolutely right" to urge caution and prioritise testing to avoid a second spike." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-52669441

Pretty much the same with the Mayflower. Regarding the Titanic, there was a program a couple of nights ago regarding the various conspiracy theories regarding it's sinking, concentrating on the insurance fraud claim that she was actually switched with her previously damaged sister ship, the Olympic. The best one, however, claims that she was actually sunk by a German U-boat, 2 years before WW1, as the Germans were jealous of the fact that the UK had the biggest and best trans-Atlantic liner.

".....who is struggling to articulate what the point of his government is because no one knows beyond Brexit" Sounds about right.

Lets change the subject. "A family of 14 has said life under lockdown has been "calmer and more sedate than normal everyday life". The Shaw family live in a Victorian semi-detached house in Mapperley, Nottingham, with mum Stacy and dad Tom joined by 12 of their children." "Mr Shaw said he did not know why they had ended up with such a large family," .................................................................. Is he a very heavy, though energetic sleeper, or is his wife married to a very gullible husband ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-52558549

What a difference a competent Leader of the Opposition makes.

My daughter has just phoned. She says she has been shopping and everybody seemed to be acting as if the lockdown has ended and she was the only one trying to Social Distance. Aisles as busy as they have ever been, and when she waited at the till, leaving a 2m gap, three people inserted themselves in front of her.

"Visit Blackpool has rebranded as Do Not Visit Blackpool to discourage visitors as lockdown restrictions are eased. The tourism body changed its name on social media after the prime minister outlined new guidance on Sunday." "Visit Blackpool is not the only tourism organisation to make a change. Visit Chester's has become Visit Chester (Soon) and Liverpool's tourism body is Visit Liverpool Later." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-52634899

Has he had a 'coming together' ?

Scots' week was the first week of their school holidays, which were earlier than in England. Given that the Scots are keeping stricter travel restrictions, and we English have been warned not to cross any of the UK's internal borders, in theory they should stay at home. Mind you, Blackpool now seems to be where long term benefits claimants migrate to. Almost all of the ERNIE site has been demolished.
