Come on Duckie, in a 2 way election one candidate polls 2.87 million votes more than their opponent - who wins ?
-
Remember, this is the berk who called his newborn child "X Æ A-12".
-
Surely winning the most votes in a 2 way election means that you are 'electable'. By your logic Corbyn won the November GE. Why not give us your definition of Democracy.

2.87 million more votes for Clinton than Trump. Go figure.
-
And nearly 3 million more of them voted for Hilary Clinton than Donald Trump. The next highest deficit in the popular vote by a winning Presidential candidate was just over half a million by Dubya, polling fewer than Al Gore but aided by gerrymandering by his brother in Florida.
-
That would be the Democrats that won more votes than the Republicans in the last Presidential election ?
-
If the argument against Biden is that he is "losing his marbles" then surely the clear evidence that Trump has completely lost his weighs against his re-election ?

My 5 year old grandson's school class have been asked to talk to their grandparents to hear their memories of VE day. It was 15 years before I was born, and I reckon many of those grandparents were born in the 1970s.
-
So both candidates are equally unelectable.
-
Trade talks with the US; US "OK Limeys, bend over" UK "How far sir ?"
-
My son and I had much the same.
-
Correct, Christie Park, the then home of Conference side Morecambe. ( The next nearest football ground to our house after Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium, this was the first Saints game for my youngest son ). The Saints squad included most of the first team roster, including MLT, Beatts, and Mark Hughes. The ground has now been replaced by a Sainsbury's.
-
Way too far south.
-
Eljero Elia. Now, the waiting is over, here is the next question; Dave Jones took a Saints 'first team' to which ground for a match to dedicate a new stand, opened by Sir Bobby Charlton ?
-
Cedric Soares Not quite, Turkish asked for the 2 German born players who played for Saints in the 1990's, and won international caps for countries other than Germany. ( Maik Taylor and Alan Neilson ).
-
First PL defeat, first PL goal scored, first PL goal conceded, first PL red card, first PL goal for MLT, first PL game where Saints took the lead, first PL game where Saints threw away a lead.
-
Standard practice, I think the same happened in both world wars if a mercant ship was sunk.
-
So what was your point ? Politicians and Civil Service Mandarins are devious lying barstewards.
-
As this question seems to have stalled the thread, or you have all simply lost interest, I think this installment needs to be closed. The answer I have, and there is no need for pedantic correction if I have missed something, is 8 own goals conceded in the Premier League at St Mary's. The latest being JWP vs Man City on Dec 30th 2018, and the preceding 6 being Jakobson vs Skates Nov 13th 2004 Higginbotham vs Middlesborough Dec 11th 2004 Higginbotham vs Norwich Apr 30th 2004 Hooiveld vs Fulham Oct 7th 2012 Guly vs Arsenal Jan 1st 2013 Hooiveld vs Spurs Dec 22nd 2013 But who scored the first, and against which opponents ?
-
And do you honestly think the UK Government doesn't do exactly the same thing ?
-
JWP got the latest one, but Hoedt has only ever scored a PL OG away from home, ( at Anfield and the Etihad for certain ). Mind you, centre backs whose surnames begin with 'H' do figure strongly, as alluded to in post #571 above.
-
No. And rather than simply guessing a random number, an answer would gain far more credence if some detail of each OG was given.
