Looking at this game from out of the area, just seemed Bournemouth were very much intent on making this into some sort of Rivalry. When I said Bournemouth, I mean a portion of their fanbase. The media, more so SKY did a good job in pointing out that there is only 1 south coast derby as for as football/fans are concerned and this was not it. Also, Tyler made a point in saying that in many Southampton fans eyes, Bournemouth are basically 'family'. Even their chairmen were on BBC saying they are great pals etc for some reason, cherries (some of) are intent on creating some sort of rivalry that just isnt there. look at this post I found this morning on a Bournemouth site.... just find some of their anger towards us, utterly bizarre

Brilliant 1st half. Horrendous 2nd half. If they had an average striker/forward line, we would have dropped at least 2 points. Vardy showed what can be done. Cedric was my MOM. Excellent performance. Pelle was not far off Clasie was alright and tadic just seems miles better on the left. But to see us surrender possession, initiative and everything else to a side without their best players, awful in defence and who keep getting beat is actually quite worrying
