  1. Should that not extend to all criminal activity then? Where do you draw the line?
  2. Not at all, but that is usually the choice of the employer, not the professional body.
  3. So any professional, whether that be in IT, Accounting, Sport etc. So what job should he be allowed to do? In addition to that, I would say any criminal activity is below the threshold in the above, so I assume anyone with a criminal record should also not be allowed into professional sport?
  4. They condemn other attacks as well, for instance: http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25472400
  5. Why do footballers have a responsibility to behave appropriately unless it's as a role model? I just don't see it.
  6. That's not what I asked but I assume from your answer you know of none. It's not as if football has or will ever be a bastion of good ethics and morals, so it seems a strange profession to choose.
  7. Not a huge amount then.
  8. What professions can't convicted criminals go back into due to being a role model?
  9. Just out of interest, at what level of criminality is someone allowed to carry on their chosen profession?
  10. I don't think so. I think we have to wait to see if he'll show remorse (don't think he will though).
  11. It was more based on the type of player, not the ability. I really rate Jovetic as well.
  12. Why is it so difficult to understand this? He is trying to clear his name, so why would he admit guilt or show remorse until every avenue is persued? Can't understand why people are struggling with this distinction?

  14. Watch the news, watch Newsnight and you'll see them on there. It happens often, but I assume some people just haven't seen it.
  15. That is completely different though, anyone who harbours a criminal or someone with criminal intent is a cůnt, and they are essentially terrorists themselves. But that isn't something that is only for Muslims.
  16. I wonder if DP is thinking of Jovetic.
  17. That's because anyone disagreeing with your point is frankly, a bit mental.
  18. Depends what kind of sex it is, ie, who penetrated who. I believe. Its been 10 years since I did anything with this. I believe rape is penetration of any orifice...
  19. I know, same issue for me!
  20. Don't spell 'compos mentis' incorrectly or Shurlock will be here to tell you that you cannot talk about any of this, or interpret anything you read...
  21. True story this.
  22. I don't disagree. To be fair when something like this happens you usually have a number of British based clerics coming out and condemning it, and I have no doubt it will happen again in response to this.
  23. I thought they concluded that she didn't have capacity to give consent to Evans, whether it was given or not?
