Haha, brilliant. Glad to see this hasn't tainted their beliefs!
-
Is that so? Good reason. Shame Jesus was such a ****ing bighead eh?

Adrian Durham just can't stop crying....
Unbelievable Jeff replied to JxgrSaint's topic in The Saints
I remember listening one evening to him on the way home and him saying that Arsenal purposely finish 4th instead of 3rd to get the extra million in ticket revenue from the playoff involved to qualify. I phoned up to remind them that they would lose the 1.7m difference between finishing 3rd and 4th, and the dicks wouldn't let me on. He's a joke, and only says stuff to get a reaction. -
Very much so. Great way to depict Muhammad.

No chance. Don't want to be here more than 2 years anyway, due to IR35 issues if I am. I will have to hand it over again, but I have a lot to sort out that they screwed up when I left so until that time I will continue to work hard and sort it for them. They want me back permanent but won't change their wage structure to accomodate me currently...we'll see what happens in 6 months though as £300m of business going tits up was not good for them last time I left (or perhaps this time they'll get better analysts to outline systems changes instead).
-
I left my job 18 months ago as a Business Analyst, and then went back 6 months ago on 3 times the pay I was on. Insanity in my eyes, but hell, not my problem if they want to pay me that much. Currently going through the process of making myself properly indispensable (which was why they wanted me back in the first place). Remember people, knowledge is power.

It was the home record that surprised me with the Saints this year. No Darren Sproles made a massive difference to Brees as he couldn't check down as much as he wanted, and was found out due to it.

As said, been playing with a torn quad for the last month or so. He's one of the greatest QB's ever, certainly the greatest QB tactician, got to 3 Superbowls, won one, holds so many records it's unreal. If you've only just started watching the NFL then yes, maybe you haven't seen the best of him, but the guy has been an absolute stud for 12 to 15 years.

Yeah, that was disgraceful behaviour. To be fair a lot of them don't post here anymore, although unfortunately some like ****lock still do.
-
It was without the permission of the new manager. By all accounts we had spoken to Koeman about him going and he agreed as they knew they would replace him anyway with Pelle.
-
Looks like Peyton played the last 6 weeks with a torn quad - explains a lot!

I don't disagree with any of those points. I'd liken the Colts to Saints actually. Luck has certainly been better turnover wise recently - the two last night were effectively punts and played like that, actually a good tactic when 3rd and long. Belliceck always has our number, and just tends to beat us up on both sides of the ball. However, our run defence didn't look too bad last night, and if our O-line can protect Luck in the pocket like against both the Broncos and the Bengals then we have a chance. Plus Luck has the X factor that he can do anything at any time. Agree about Peyton, as a Colts fan I have a lot of love for him, but his arm strength has diminished greatly this year and I hope he retires in the off-season. Shame to end his career like that.

I was listening to the Football Ramble podcast last week (which, by the way, is spectacularly good and very funny) and they mentioned RK's goalscoring record, which even though I knew he scored a few (free kicks etc), I never realised was this good: 207 goals in 613 appearances!! That is better than 1 in 3. For a frigging Centre Back. Anyone else find this utterly staggering?

Let's not start this again SM, there is no need. The board did fine in the Summer apart from communication over the Chambers transfer. Apart from that they did everything correctly, as we said they did then.
-
Difficult - looking at our fixtures we have a real chance of top 4, only difficult games where I don't expect points is away at Chelsea and City.
-
Fantastic win for my Colts last night, Luck really coming of age. Just purchased my season ticket for the Wembley games next year as well.
-
As ever, nail on head from Brian.
-
Fairplay. As I repeatedly told everyone in the Summer, there is a plan, they are here for the long haul, and THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. Good on for the above post.
-
Brilliant all round performance, but special props to Gardos, going in cold against that front 4 and performing the way he did was massive for us. Onwards and upwards. UTS.
-
Very prescient...
-
Surely not true. God that would be brilliant.

Will everybody stop shouting?!!
