Unchanged side then which I think is very good. Ramirez on the bench again, hopefully he gets a chance to play in the second half. No Osvaldo in the squad though, but could still have his injury issue. I'm glad JWP kept his place in the side. been brilliant his season. his dead ball delivery is fantastic.
Hopefully after playing 120 minutes against Birmingham in the cup , they won't last the full game, so will probably tire at about 60 minutes. And given that we have the fittest squad in the league due to Pochettino's double training sessions, I think we will win this one comfortably. We also have better players than them. There isn't one Stoke player I would want in the Saints team. However that new boy Arnautovic does look good.
This is what I would like to see.

I want to see how well Gaston and Osvaldo link up.
And Ward-Prowse needs more game time this season IMO.
no, usually when people are on crutches they can walk normally but just need the help of the crutches. he was hobbling just walking 10 yards to his car.
If Pochettino worked with him before, and wants to sign him now, then I can't imagine that MP had and problems with Osvaldo, otherwise why try to sign him?
I would start with:
Boruc
Clyne(If fit), Lovren, Fonte,Fox
Schneiderlin, Wanyama
Puncheon, Lallana, Rodriguez
Lambert
The Wanyama and Schneiderlin partnership in midfield looked really good against Real Sociedad.
